Das Badezimmer der Unterkunft war wunderschön. Leider lag unser Zimmer an der Durchgangstüre zum Aufzug,die uns jedes Mal weckte.

Die Unterkunft war für unsere zwei Übernachtungen ausreichend. Das Zimmer war sauber und recht geräumig mit kleinem Kühlschrank und Tisch inklusive 2 Stühle. Das Badezimmer war zweckmäßig, allerdings nicht ganz meine Vorstellung eines Badezimmers, eher Schuhschrank in den Dusche, Klo und Waschbecken eingebaut wurden. Wenn man auf der Toilette saß konnte man eigentlich nicht die Tür schließen. Das war für uns einigermaßen in Ordnung, aber vermutlich nicht für jeden. Parken ging direkt vor der Tür. Fußgängerzone war ein kleines Stück, aber problemlos zu Fuß in 5-10min zu erreichen.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, bis in die Stadt kann man problemlos laufen. In der direkten Umgebung gibt es sowohl Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und einen Bäcker. Parkplätze für den Mietwagen sind am Hotel auch vorhanden. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern, allerdings eher klein und zweckmäßig. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Im Badezimmer hätte ich mir noch eine Ablage gewünscht. Zusammengefasst bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann das Hotel allen empfehlen die eh die meiste Zeit unterwegs sind.

Great hotel with clean rooms. It´s about 15 minutes walk from the city center and close to bus stops. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is kettle and a small fridge in the room. What is a little bit weird is the lighting in the room - it´s quite dark and additional light source would be a great addition - I couldn´t read in bed because the light was not sufficient.

Room was clean and safe, but between road noise and the loose door clanking in the high winds, it was hard to find quiet. Also the automated door codes werent too efficient. The code only registered once for every three times you entered it and with no one onsite to assist, you were on your own in the weather struggling. The bathroom was the size of a closet so very difficult to maneuver if you are a larger person. Location was good though and parking was easy to find. This spot had its ups and downs!

This is a self service hotel, no staff can be seen, they sent very detail self service check in proceedure by email. Room is very clean, quiet area, can walk to town center for 30 mins. Will recommend !

The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was nice, could use a little more counter space in the bathroom but it was fine. The fridge in the room was a plus. There is no front desk or any staff on the premise at all, except for some cleaning staff during the day. In a perfect world this would be fine but I saw some people having issues with their key codes, including two individuals on our second last night who were banging around trying to figure it out at two in the morning, so that was annoying. Luckily our check-in was relatively easy and issue free. The one major problem with the hotel are the doors separating the rooms from the outside. They are extremely, and I mean extremely, loud. They slam so hard that they would shake our wall right about our bed. We were one of the furthest rooms away from the entry door as well, I could only imagine how brutal it would be to be a room nearby. This causes a big issue as every time someone would enter and exit, the door would slam and wake us up if we were sleeping. Looking at some of the other reviews, this seems to be an issue for quite a few people. It’s too bad management hasn’t taken action yet.

It was a nice location. There were some issues with the codes not always working to get into the building. And the WiFi kept dropping out. This is a self hotel. Staff are only on site to clean after check out.

Do not mind contactless check ins but the instructions to get to your room were not clear at all. In fact we found a guest wandering around trying to figure out where to go. The shower is the worst one we ran into during our trip. Water spills all over the floors no matter how careful you are. In fact it even spilled into the room. We spent so much time wiping the floors. Would not stay there again.

They must be going through a turnover... This hotel is self check-in. My reservation said "Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival." There was no staff to be found. Ever. 20 minutes on the phone with India help desk to get an email with a room reservation and door code. At the time we arrived (May 2), electricians were doing work, so none of the building doors were locked (which was fine with me as it was raining). This was apparently when they were installing the touchscreen pad outside the main door that would (presumably) have allowed me to get help without having to call on my phone. Housekeeping was non-existent. We were there 3 nights and our room was never touched, so the "daily housekeeping" as advertised is false. I saw something about putting a card on the door handle to ask for housekeeping, but there was no card. Shower could not be on full blast or else the bathroom would quickly flood. However, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was clean, and the towel warmer worked. (Also -- bring your own hairdryer.)

There is no 24/7 front desk worker. You check in on an iPad located outside of the building and we were no provided with any instructions. It took a few calls to finally reach someone. There was also no breakfast which the reservation said it included. WI-FI was also not working.

DO NOT BOOK! The place only has remote operation, we never got booking comfirmation, the pin to the room didn’t work and the payment system fails everytime. Free parking, and an easy 5 min walk to a grocery store. We had rented a car but found it was also super close to museums and things and mostly just walked places downtown. The staff was so nice and helpful too.

As an American there is no hairdryer, no microwave. No AC , it’s could be crazy hot in the room . Noises is coming all over from this place , in the morning from cleaning. If you open your window from the cars . For this price I never had such a terrible experience.

The hotel was in a relatively good location, 20 minute walk to town centre. The rooms were clean and tidy but had issues with the shower as the lip intended to keep the water in was not substantial enough, so water flooded the bathroom. The sinks were tiny (had plenty of room for bigger ones) there was a shelf above the sink, which made leaning over the sink and brushing teeth etc impossible. We also requested a room on the top floor, which was confirmed on an email, but when we arrived were given a ground floor room with a view of a wall. This was changed but not to the top floor we requested.

Hotel location is very quiet and super convenient, it’s close to downtown (10 - 15 mins walk) through Laugavegur, a very commercial street full of nice bars, restaurants and gift shops. Another important thing about the location is that most of the company tours pick up and drop off at the Brim or Orkin hotel, both located next door, so you don’t have to worry about walking long to a bus stop to get picked up for your excursions. Hotel premises are new and rooms as well, very clean and well maintained. The little coffee maker in the room 😍, nothing like a good coffee in the morning. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, always willing to take care of you and your requests. Thanks Hotel Aska for everything and definitely will stay again with you guys.
