„Das Hotel ist eigentlich ein Studentenwohnheim, daß im Sommer als
kostengünstiges Hotel dient: dadurch stehen draußen keine Schilder
die es als Hotel identifizieren, erst wenn man reinkommt sieht man
das Logo von 'Residence and Conference Center'. Für den echt günstigen
Preis kriegt man etwas echt gut. Wir waren in einer 2-Zimmer Suite
(2 x Doppellbeten) mit einer kleinen Küche (mit Mikrowelle, aber
ohne jegliches Geschirr...), was sehr praktisch ist, denn in der Nähe sind kaum Restaurants ...

„Everything about our stay at the Arlington was positive. The only big issue is the construction on the main street right across the road. 2 year project replacing water lines. The main street will be very pretty again but not now. “

„Charming hotel with great service. The breakfast offered was good. There is currently construction going on in the main shopping area. Everything was still accessible but I can just imagine how beautiful it will be once completed. Will definitely come back to see the area once construction is over. Many food options available within walking distance, we loved our dinner at the Stillwaters and the view was besutiful from the top deck!“

Ich habe angerufen und der Check in war ohne Aufpreis auch um viertel nach eins am Morgen möglich. Auch sonst hat der Service bei allen Anliegen mit Rat und Tat nach bestem Gewissen geholfen.
Es gab zwar kein Frühstück aber das war auf Grund des Preises gut vertretbar. Das Städtchen Paris erreicht man zu Fuß in etwa 15 Minuten und 5 Minuten vom Motel entfernt ...

Reception - great employees working there, so welcoming and always helpful. Only confusion was we asked for every other day a tidy up in our room (we stayed a week), and they came once on the third day and not again, so I kept having to ask for supplies. Then finally the cleaners came in to do a thorough clean, but we declined as we were leaving the next day as that didn't make any sense.

„Lovely old house with very friendly and engaging owner. Not sure it is quite a boutique hotel, and some of the descriptions eg beach bars, seemed a bit of a stretch. We pretty much had the place to ourselves and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and nibbles on arrival as well as breakfast delivered to our suite every morning. Comfortable and quiet, and a nice walk to restaurants of Port Dover. “

„Rooms are huge, had a double king suite with a pull out and a kitchenette, really nice that 2nd king was in its own room to get some peace and quiet from the kids. Cool Hollywood themed hotel! Rooms were nice, clean, and looked new.“

„Das Best Western hat seine besten Tage erlebt. Es herrscht Renovierungsstau. Die Zimmer sind, insbesondere bei einer Vierer-Belegung, grenzwertig eng. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Wir fanden auf dem Badezimmerboden unzählige Fremdhaare, das braucht niemand.
Es ist leider so, dass es in dieser Gegend sehr wenige Hotels gibt, die anderen zur Auswahl stehenden Hotels machten auch nicht wirklich einen besseren Eindruck.“
