Situated on Henlopen Avenue in the picturesque "Pines" of Rehoboth Beach, this charming classic beach cottage is a short walk or bike ride to the beach, boardwalk, unique shops and restaurants. Comfortably sleeping 9, the cute ranch-style home offers 3/4 bedrooms, 2.5 BA, spacious living room, sitting area, dining room, screened porch and deck . . . so there's plenty of room to spread out. The wonderful outdoor shower is fantastic after a sun and sand-filled day at the beach. The homeowner graciously offers a few beach bikes, beach umbrella and beach chairs for guest use. The cottage-style house also has a unique history as it was built by the Crane Plumbing family and the bathrooms have mostly retained their original antique style! When evening rolls around... keep the car parked and walk into town to choose from a vast number of delicious casual and gourmet restaurants. If you feel like staying in, the well equipped kitchen and charcoal grill will make dinner plans a snap. Afterward, you can keep up with your favorite shows on the 4 smart TVs or play family games on the screened in porch! Bonuses: the home offers off-street parking and 2 Rehoboth Beach city permits AND the cleaning fee is included if you stay a full week! Ideally located very close to Gordon's Pond State Park too which offers a beautiful ocean beach (dog friendly) and is adjacent to an easy biking, hiking, running, and bird watching trail which traverses and links to the the salt marshes of Cape Henlopen State Park. The trail will take you to Historic Lewes... a great day trip for the adventurous! There is a minimum $300 pet fee to bring a dog(s). The property must be occupied by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement, and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Guest for the entire rental period. The Guest signing the Lodging Agreement must be at least 25 years of age and must occupy the Property for the entire rental period. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age. Guests pay a $165 cleaning fee for stays under 7 nights. Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online. VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as owner on this site. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked on VRBO, you will be contacted by a representative from the management company via phone or email and you will be sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed to confirm your reservation. Apart from damage protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking. Unless indicated otherwise, Linens/Towels and paper products are NOT INCLUDED. Guests may rent Linens/Towels through the hosting company or bring their own.
