A very quaint little place that I hope does well in the future. It's a little ways out of town, but that helped in keeping things quiet, as opposed to an in-town hotel. The hosts were friendly, the breakfast was great (although only bacon was available, but things happen). The fresh-out-of-the-oven muffin was a great start. It seems like more of a B and B rather than a motel.
The grounds are nice, with a fire pit available with umbrellas and chairs.
Check in and out is easy, but you do need to be able to get email or text to get your room combination if no one is at the desk (yes, combination locks on the room doors. That's unusual.). I didn't know that.
The room decor is attractive and clean, with a stocked mini-fridge if you want something to snack on. Know, however, that the snacks are not complimentary. But the dining area is made available during off-hours if you want to heat something up in the microwave and the tables and chairs are available.
All in all, with a little fine-tuning, this is a top-notch place to stay.
