Just fantastic. We stayed in #7 with a small patio and in there our own jacuzzi, which we used after dinner at night. What a great experience. Owners are absolute nice and friendly. They provide a wonderful breakfast, starting with awesome blueberry muffins, handmade. Then you can chose from a small menu of 4 options, we have had „Breakfast Burrito“ and „Chilaquiles“, both very tasty and freshly made. As we are from Germany it will probably take some time to be back in Taos. But if one day, this pretty little gem will be our first choice for sure.

The owners of the Desert Flower Boutique Hotel are absolutely wonderful. The hotel has been restored and the renovated rooms were clean and tastefully decorated, complete with their own Spotify playlists, no less! The included morning breakfasts and access to coffee and tea throughout the day were welcome additions to the stay. The afternoon tea was especially nice during our wet, cold and blustery stay. The location is out of the main part of town but has easy access into Taos for dining and shopping. The parking area flooded our last day, not due to anything the owners had any control over, and they graciously worked hard to remedy the situation. All in all, a wonderful experience.

The owners are very nice people with great recommendations and serve you a lovely, farm-to-table breakfast every day! You'll feel right at home. The property is quaint with a great view. The location is perfect for access to all ski areas and downtown Taos. I also loved the local soaps included with the room.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was so cozy and the bed made us feel like we were at home. The owners were so welcoming and always chatted with us every morning. We felt like we were talking to family every day. We loved their recommendations on places to visit and the food they offered was so good! We couldn’t get enough of their homemade blueberry muffins. We would gladly stop at this place again to stay.

One of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in.. The owners made my wife and I birthday trip one of the best birthdays ever.. The breakfast was very delicious and the room esthetics was very romantic.. Great place for a staycation for residents of the state and great for tourist.. the deep soaking tub fits 2 comfortably..

A perfect place and experience
Our stay could not have been more perfect. The location is perfect. It's so close to town but far enough away. The room was adorable—super thoughtful decor. The breakfast and, yes, the blueberry muffins are amazing. So is the coffee and any breakfast item you choose. It is a super welcoming experience and a great deal for the price

Lovely boutique hotel in Ranchos de Taos. It's a bit secluded but within short driving distance to downtown and attractions. The seclusion allowed me to slow down and relax! The room that I stayed in has a luxurious oversized copper bath tub, which I enjoyed very much! I also loved the decor. The hosts were amazing! My stay included breakfast with both traditional and contemporary menu to choose from. The eggs that they serve at the restaurant are from the chickens in the backyard farm. :-)

A very quaint little place that I hope does well in the future. It's a little ways out of town, but that helped in keeping things quiet, as opposed to an in-town hotel. The hosts were friendly, the breakfast was great (although only bacon was available, but things happen). The fresh-out-of-the-oven muffin was a great start. It seems like more of a B and B rather than a motel. The grounds are nice, with a fire pit available with umbrellas and chairs. Check in and out is easy, but you do need to be able to get email or text to get your room combination if no one is at the desk (yes, combination locks on the room doors. That's unusual.). I didn't know that. The room decor is attractive and clean, with a stocked mini-fridge if you want something to snack on. Know, however, that the snacks are not complimentary. But the dining area is made available during off-hours if you want to heat something up in the microwave and the tables and chairs are available. All in all, with a little fine-tuning, this is a top-notch place to stay.

What a beautiful motel. I know a lot of time and love went into remodeling the motel and rooms. Our room, The Quartz was beautiful, and the beds and linens - perfect. Breakfast was amazing, and the hosts/owners are so friendly. I love that the eggs for breakfast come right from the hens on site. I would definitely recommend this rare find.

Very nice room. Property is just outside Taos, nice and quiet, easy parking, and just a short drive to town. People running the hotel are so friendly and nice - wonderful! The breakfasts are AMAZING - not at all typical hotel breakfast - including the best blueberry muffin you will *ever* have!

Petit motel/bed and breakfast récent à la sortie de TAOS( 7 chambres toutes personnalisées et décorées avec soin, en retrait de la route donc calmes , très propres avec douche à l'italienne en ce qui me concerne) L'accueil de Jody et de son épouse Xochiti est excellent. Ils sont attentifs à votre bien être et prodiguent des conseils pertinents de visite.Leur petit déjeuner exécuté sur commande à partir d'un choix de 5 choix est fabuleux ( je recommande l'avocado, eggs ( de leurs propres poules) and local sprouts) .... et surtout leur excellent muffin, cuisiné chaque matin par Xochiti;;; un régal..: Seul petit bémol: la place limitée dans la salle de bain pour poser sa trousse de toilette. Mais cela n'entache pas la qualité de cet hôtel A RECOMMANDER sans restriction

Best Boutique Ever!
I have stayed here at least half a dozen times now, as I come to Taos to get away. This is my very favorite get-away spot. Impeccably clean, such beautiful boutique details, and amazing food -- even a real breakfast, cooked to order. As a solo female traveler, I feel very safe and cared for here. A long soak in a copper tub is perfect after a hike in the Rio Grande Gorge. Can't imagine how to make it better.
