The staff was amazing! Very friendly! Samuel a server at the buffet totally made our stay! Alfredo and Juan and the swim up bar very friendly, Victor and the other pool side entertainment staff were fantastic! Very entertaining, and great at getting people involved. I want to send a special thank you to Edmund, we encountered him in many places at the resort, his personality and happy energy was contagious. He always had a smile on his face, was very eager to have conversations and worked so very hard!
All in all the resort was pleasant. The room was decent, had a few minor issues but absolutely nothing that all in all affected our experience and therefore not worth mentioning.
We loved that the resort was on the smaller size, the food selections were still lovely and we didn't have to hike 10 miles from our room every day. The pools were perfect. Beach was nice. It was very nice to be able to leave the resort without having to get on a bus to do so. It was like stepping into another world, we found a nice restaurant up the hill in the town, had the best fajitas we have ever had! Found a lovely locally owned store for some souvenirs and everyone we encountered were very friendly.
My honest to goodness only negative about the whole experience was the coffee, very very terrible. I would suggest bringing your own if possible.
