Perfect place to stay!!!
Aufgrund der Nebensaison wurden wir vorab vom House Manager gebeten in das "Schwester"-Haus (Eben House) zu wechseln und wurden somit geupgradet. Die Unterkunft war einfach perfekt - das Zimmer traumhaft schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und täglich mit einem fantastischen Frühstück verwöhnt. Der Service war herausragend. Die Lage ist optimal, Parallelstraße zur Commercial Street und wenige Gehminuten zum Pilgrim Monument. Das Wetter war sehr stark verregnet, was uns bei einer so schönen Unterkunft nichts weiter ausgemacht hat. Einfach nur wundervoll!

Sehr empfehlenswert, aber hellhörig.
Lage: perfekt und zentral, an einer Straße. Parkplatz: beim Hotel und kostenlos, perfekt. Frühstück: herausragend lecker und jeden Tag mit liebevollen Variationen, unser Highlight. Man kann auch draußen angenehm im Schatten frühstücken oder tagsüber sitzen. Personal: sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus: zum Wohlfühlen, Zimmer sind gepflegt, besonders schön im 1. Stock auf der Terrasse, Sonne noch zum Sonnenuntergang. Aber es ist ein historisches Haus mit dünnen Wänden, etwas hellhörig, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Ansonsten liegen Ohrstöpsel auf dem Nachttisch bereit, was wir sehr aufmerksam fanden. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir empfehlen das Haus.

Gutes Hotel in guter Lage
Die Zimmer sind klein und hellhörig, aber sauber und alles funktioniert. Man bekommt ein gutes Frühstück was über den amerikanischen Standard hinausgeht. Es liegt gut um zu den schönen Stränden wie herring cove oder race point zu kommen. Per Auto jeweils 5min.und ein Parkplatz am Hotel ist auch dabei, der sonst oft extra bezahlt werden muss.

A memorable place for a bday trip
My fiancé CJ and I had an excellent stay. We were really touched that special non alcoholic drinks were left for us to celebrate his 30th birthday and a room upgrade unexpectedly. The place is in an excellent location and I will stay here again.

My Salt House Inn stay was perfect. The room was very comfortable. The inn is charming, the staff friendly and hospitable, and the breakfasts delicious. It was very convenient to have parking at the back door. The garden is delightful.

Charming rustic, yet modern, inn with superb service and good breakfast spread. A block off Commercial St. The only downsides are the small room sizes and that the bedroom windows on the ground floor are a couple feet from the road so you can hear cars from the room

Hello Vikram, Thank you for the charming review. We are happy that you enjoyed the amenities that we had to offer during your stay. Being close to the center of town yet, just off the beaten path is like finding jewels outside of the mind. Amazing. During your next stay we would recommend a 2nd floor room, facing the parking lot to remedy the noise issue. Please indicate all food allergy and sensitivity to noise when booking with us. We take all of this into consideration when rooming our guest.

Fantastic Stay
My girlfriend and I stayed at Salt House Inn after spending time in Boston and travelling around Cape Cod. We stayed in 2 places in Boston, down in Hyannis and then here whilst stopping in different towns along the way too and Salt House Inn was by far our favourite placed to have visited. We have travelled a lot and the Inn might actually be a favourite across the board! It is a quaint, clean, beautifully designed inn where attention to detail makes it such a well thought out, comfortable and overall lovely experience. The team were attentive, chatty and so friendly, with a perfect light breakfast every morning in peaceful surroundings, inside or out. It is also a very short walk down the road to the main street (Commercial St) but distanced enough to be a quiet night. The rooms are characteristic and spacious – we had a Queen Bed room - which was much bigger than the pictures looked and decorated thoughtfully and with quality. We wished we took a picture before we settled down! Thank you to all the team who made this such a lovely stay, we’d love to come back and would recommend!

This inn was thoughtfully designed and beautifully maintained. The staff was very friendly and warm. The inn was an easy short walk to downtown but just tucked back enough to be nice and quiet. The room was very comfortable- great temperature control and everything we needed.

Our room was the Double Bed and it was quaint and perfect for just sleeping in while you're out and about. The parking lot is very tight and there's enough parking for every room available. 9 rooms = 9 parking spots. Our window is broken in the room, it does not close. So I unfortunately didn't sleep well due to people yelling at night and the noises of delivery trucks. I always bring my own pillow to inns, hotels, etc due to how flat they are. The "free" breakfast is some pastries, homemade bread, and their own homemade chai parfaits. If you're not into healthy food, it won't be for you. I personally did not see any beverages that were complimentary, besides tea and coffee. Everything was within walking distance. It was 5 minutes to walk to most places, but can be up to 30 to get anywhere else. It was very clean and beautiful there. The shower does take a few minutes to get warm water too.

The owner and staff made us feel completely at home. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was awesome. Easy walk to everything in Ptown but one block off the main drag made it nice for quiet time. The outside spaces were a great combination pf quiet sun or shade as desired. Can’t wait to get back

Very clean and pleasant setting. Breakfast was beautiful. Only issue was no hot water in shower yes there was hot in the sink. Reported it to Saturday day host and she suggested I must have been showering while everyone else was which doesn't explain why there was hot water in the sink still. Returning Saturday afternoon she said they looked at it and confirmed that they had verified that I had hot water in the shower. There was still no hot water in the shower. I reported this to the other host and he stated that he would need to call the owner but that they were full and could not make any re-accommodation. I would definitely return if only for the comfy bed and the wonderfull breakfast.

My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary. Our stay at the Salt House Inn was wonderful! The breakfast was amazing! The Salt House team were so nice to welcome us with a bottle of wine and anniversary card on our arrival. We will definitely be back!

The landscaping/trees were overgrown which made the place kind of dark and mysterious looking. The trees need serious trimming, IMO
