Great location... that's it.
The location of this property is great, and if someone else purchases it, I'm certain this could be an excellent place to stay.
It's current condition is a filthy carpet that runs throughout the living, bedroom, and entryway. A small, dirty, a/c unit that requires assistance with a fan - all plugged into the same extension cord as as the TV, as most of the outlets don't work.
Two of the outlets in the bedroom work, but you'll need to run a fan in there as well as it's incredibly hot up there.
We came in a bit early to drop our things and it had yet to be cleaned. In the time between when we left and came back, it wasn't humanly possible to do more than change linens. There is no way any cleaning happened.
The shower curtain and liner were both pink at the bottom. We were given two bath towels, two hand towels, and two wash cloths for our four day stay.
If you're looking for the "lockbox" that is supposedly holding your key, it's not one of the outside boxes. The combination lock is on the door at the top of the steep stairs, (covered by another disgusting carpet,) that lead to your room.
Until this place has some not so drastic renovations, I would spend your $2,000 for four days after fees and taxes somewhere else.
