Perfect view for hotel room vrbo
The best view of Hanalei Bay, mountains, sunset. The hotel room is adequate but ok for the price paid. Clean, but drab furnishings, 1980’s style. The resort is nice, restaurant is good, pool is lovely, beach is amazing. We loved our stay and Hanalei/Princeville area.

In November 2023, we updated the condo with Hawaiian/Japanese "Japandi" minimalisitic solid mango furniture and use all white linens to provide a fresh clean feel. Tropical Paradise!!!
This was the perfect place to spend our anniversary! The views were stunning and the studio was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were helpful, communicated clearly, and made us feel welcomed. The resort was beautifully landscaped, well maintained and the staff friendly. We loved the pool, hot tub and the nice sandy beach, and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer.

Hanalei Bay Resort
We were in one of the smaller units and it was perfect for the two of us. Beautiful views, comfortable bed, nice outdoor lanai, and beautiful resort. The walk down to the beach was so cool as you go into a tropical growth area and then come out to the beach.Loved it!!

Amazing location and views!
The unit was exactly as advertised, and was well appointed with beach supplies. The view from the porch was spectacular! We appreciated the air conditioning for the days in the high 80s with 100% humidity. The staff at Hanalei Bay Resorts were also wonderful. Thanks Amir and Maryam!

Beautiful location
We love Hanalei and wanted to stay at this resort! This room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - we used the cooler and wine glasses several times. Nice a/c, beautiful view, and a fridge. Steep walk to beach, which was fine with us. Lots of golf cards if you need a lift. Beach out front was never crowded. We enjoyed the lagoon pool and Happy Talk for drinks and dinner. Owner had great communication.

Great Stay!
Had a great stay at this location for a week. Views of hanalei bay, mountains, waterfalls, and sunsets were absolutely amazing! Owner was responsive and very helpful before, during and after. The bellman service was great. Amenities on site and in nearby town were amazing as well. Loved the North shore and can see ourselves coming back again. Highly recommend this location.

Great little room with an awesome view of the mountains, and a good view of the ocean
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was like a nice hotel. Firm but comfortable bed. Restaurant on site was good, the pool and hot tub were were great. We got our steps in going up and down the hill for outings, (but that's North Shore anywhere), and there is a golf cart shuttle if needed, which was great for getting to the beach below. We did not need the AC - cross breeze was nice. Would stay again.

Thanks, Heather for your review. The resort does sit on a bluff which is great for views, but we also love to take advantage of the golf cart shuttles. :-) We would be happy to host you again!

Magical!
This was the perfect place for us to kick off our honeymoon! Being up north meant lots of driving down south for activities, but the view from the lanai during our morning coffee was so so worth it, and Hanalei felt like home by the end of the week. The unit was perfect- clean, cozy, and fully stocked with all the things we might need. The resort was beautiful, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

The view from the balcony was beautiful just as described.
The daily resort fee on top of a daily parking fee seemed unreasonable quite a long walk to a general parking lot from the room. This is a small hotel room. The resort hot tub was broken, pool bar not open . Restaurant limited hours and open to public but hard to get in. . Pretty and seemed safe. 6 miles from HANALEI which was very nice. Make area restaurant reservations before you arrive.

The Perfect View of Kauai’s North Shore

This property did not disappoint! The information I received online was what we actually received when we got to the property. Gorgeous view, nice accommodations, and wonderful staff! I would highly recommend this to anyone. Keep in mind it’s not a full kitchen and no microwaves are provided, but the view from our second floor balcony where this property is, could not have been better!

Nice place!
The view from the room is amazing and made the place so worth it. And the hot tub on the property is the best ever! A beach umbrella and a microwave would have been exactly what we needed , but there was other nice beach equipment and kitchenette stuff available. Most of the lights in the room didn’t work but there was enough lighting to get by. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Aloha Helen! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! We went ahead and ordered a tommy bahama sun umbrella for the unit. Sometimes guests misplace items, so we appreciate you letting us know we needed a new one. Unfortunately, Kauai county doesn't allow microwaves or cooking appliances in the studio side of the units or we would definitely have the studio equipped. The good news is that there is a microwave and a kitchen a short walk away at the bbqs by the closest pool to our unit, for anyone who needs to use. Come back and visit again soon! Mahalo 🌺

Lovely property, nice view of Hanalei bay in one direction. Coffee pot but no coffee, sugar, creamer. Snorkeling gear - one set- fins ripped, goggle but no snorkel. So useless. Two small combined shampoo/conditioner containers for 2 people for 4 days. One small bar soap, no body soap or lotion. No microwave. Parking a nightmare. No onsite breakfast. Have to drive. Not set up for anyone with walking challenges. No onsite dining on Wed eves, again have to drive somewhere. No microwave. One plate broken. Checkout procedures ask that we sweep the floor, take out the garbage and wash the dishes. Isn't this what housekeeping is supposed to do?

Gorgeous property on an unbelievable resort! Kind staff who are very friendly. Amazing tennis courts, pools and restaurant with entertainment and private beach!!! We had a stunning sunset view every night. Condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Kitchen was small but perfectly adequate. Good sized washroom and very comfortable bed. Air conditioner was a life saver! Would happily recommend

A lovely time at Hanalei Bay
We had an amazing time at Hanalei Bay! This is one of my favorite buildings. It is quiet and tucked away from some of the busier resort areas, but still has incredible views from the balcony (and even from the bed in this specific unit!) This was my second time to the resort and first time staying in a studio. While we missed the convenience of having a full kitchen, it was nice to have a mini fridge and coffee maker. The beach chairs and snorkel gear were a lovely surprise. We are already looking forward to our next trip back, although I think I would lean toward renting both units in the future just for the additional kitchen space and washer/dryer.

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our trip to Kauai! Hanalei Bay Resort is stunning and the views from the rental are just as pictured. You can see the waves crashing in Hanalei Bay from the balcony and even the bed. The sand bottom hot tub was probably the coolest I've been in. The resort also has a nice outdoor kitchen setup right outside the unit. We grilled chicken and pineapple one night. Not one complaint about our stay, it was perfect! The path down to the beach is worth the walk. Stunning views, and so peaceful at night. We'll be back!

The suite was very nice and cozy, came with many amenities such as boogie boards, sunscreen, snorkeling gear, tennis rackets, beach chairs and umbrella. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only downfall is many of the amenities of the resort are closed down. The swim up bar in the pictures has a note saying “closed indefinitely” and the main bar/ restaurant on the grounds was closed 6 of the 7 nights we were there due to staffing issues. The resort grounds are very nice though and the staff working at the resort are very helpful. Would recommend staying here, and we would stay here again if we came back in the future.

The VIEW!
We very much enjoyed our time at Hanalei Bay Resort! The grounds were gorgeous, and we made the most of our time here. The view from the unit was really special. We enjoyed watching the changes through out the day, from the full moon in the middle of the night, to clouds passing through, to rain storms, to sunny skies, to colorful sunsets. All of it was spectacular! The unit was clean, and the owner was very proactive to be sure we enjoyed our stay. We loved our short visit, and look forward to coming again!
