Wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Condo
Sehr gemütliches, sauberes und geräumiges Condo, in dem es uns an nichts gefehlt hat! Mit den zwei Schlaf- und Badezimmern hervorragend geeignet für einen Urlaub mit Teenagern. Sehr gepflegtes, sicheres Ambiente in einem pittoresken Teil der bezaubernden Insel Kauai. Sehr gute Ausstattung mit Waschmaschine, Trockner, Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, großer Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, Herd und Backofen und einer Küche mit vielen Töpfen. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch der konsequente Schutz durch Moskitogitter an allen Fenstern und Türen (obwohl wir nicht den Eindruck hatten, dass Moskitos ein Problem sind: es weht immer ein Wind). Die Nähe zu der Schildkrötenhöhle an der Klippe ist fantastisch, wir haben dort jedes Mal Schildkröten angetroffen und die Höhle ist einfach umwerfend. Mit Flipflops sollte man den steilen Weg jedenfalls nicht wagen. Supermarkt in ca 5min Fahrweite. Der Westteil der Insel ist für deutsche Verhältnisse weit, aber dafür hat man hier das Gefühl mit George Clooney in „The Descendant“ abzuhängen… ;-) Mahalo and big recommendation!

Everything we wanted!
The condo was everything we wanted and more. We fell in love with the north side of the island years ago and was so happy to stay here. We spent 8 days on the north side and 2 day trips to the south. There’s so many hikes and dreamy snorkeling areas within walking distance! Loved how close it is to restaurants and shopping in Hanalei and Kiluea. We were so grateful for the beach towels. Pro tip: bring hiking sandals with grips on the bottom and also water shoes for snorkeling. Buy your snorkel mask and tube off Amazon. The only downfall which is no fault of this condo was the tenant above us. He seemed to be stomping around the entire night every night. Also the roosters crow as early as 3am so bring a white noise fan if you are a light sleeper! We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. It was amazing!!!

We stayed in Princeville for the second half of our trip to Kauai for our honeymoon. Checking in & o it were easy! The condo is very clean. Beds are comfy! Having a full kitchen was nice. Expect the roosters and birds to be loud most of the day (we didn't mind it!). There's a short (but dangerous) trail near the condo that I recommend visiting, it takes you right on the right near the water! :) the views from the bedrooms are beautiful and you hear the ocean from the room :) highly recommend staying here.

This property is well equipped and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable and in a beautiful location -- we saw whales right from the complex by walking about a hundred yards from our door! Close to grocery store and restaurants. This property is very convenient for north shore activities, but anything else means a trip back around the island.

A wonderful week in paradise
What a beautiful condo! Very clean. The furnishing, lamps,and decor beautiful and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The beds were so comfortable we wished we could take them home. The grounds were perfectly landscaped and manicured. Breathtaking views and very quiet. There was a Rooster alarm clock that was a resident but he was beautiful. We highly recommend this unit and would stay here again. Aloha

Beautiful Princeville Condo
This was the perfect condo for our short stay in Kauai! It was clean and comfortable, and it’s location on the north side of the island is great! We enjoyed the view of the lush Kauai landscape and mountains from the back patio. With a fantastic view of the gorgeous Pacific the moment we stepped out the front door. We also enjoyed amenities which included use of beach chairs! Made for a perfect day at the beach! Wendy was also so easy to work it! Thanks for hosting us! Can’t wait to make it back!

Overall great stay with one caveat
Loved the property and the location. Really beautiful. Only thing that impacted our stay was the lack of AC. I saw that there was no AC when looking at the listing initially, but reviews seemed to be okay with it not having AC. We stayed in October and in my opinion it was just a little too hot and uncomfortable at night for me and my wife. Really liked everything else about the property, so even a little portable AC unit in the bedrooms would have turned a really good stay into a great stay.

The unit has everything you need in the kitchen. Upgraded interior given the age of the overall property which was fantastic. Stunning Mountain View’s from all of the windows. Ocean vistas within steps of your front door. Quiet property (except for the lullaby of ocean waves and beloved morning roosters).

The condo was homey and a great base camp on the north shore! I wish I would have known to ask if unit had A/C. Not a huge issue in the evenings but it was quite warm during the day even with windows open and all fans running. Not a deal breaker we were just surprised! Everything else about the condo was excellent! Would definitely recommend it!

Great Princeville spot
Great spot for a "home base" on Kauai's north side. Lovely morning views of the mountains (no ocean view from this unit), easy to get to nearby towns, short drive to Ha'ena park or the shuttle. Didn't use the resort amenities at all, so I cannot speak to that. Overall very nice. The unit was clean and easily accessible. Parking was simple any time of day. Windows allowed for good air flow and we were all comfortable during our stay. Communication with the owner/manager was quick and easy. While a resort wouldn't necessarily be my first choice, this was a good spot. Recommended!

We were so blown away with this beautiful condo, great Hawaii views everywhere. We loved all the windows to let fresh air in. The property was extremely clean! You could see it’s all been recently updated. Beds were comfy, kitchen had everything for our needs, and we were close enough to all the things we wanted to visit near and around Princville. Great place!! Well stocked and very clean. Really quiet all day. It's within walking distance to the local beach and the "town" center. It's also close to the nicest beach on Kaua'i, Kauapea Beach aka Secret Beach. You couldn't ask for much more. We will definitely be back for more.

A corner in paradise
The rental is exactly as described. Clean, comfortable and spacious. It’s also very quiet. The mornings are magical - the sounds of the birds and roosters begin at dawn and it’s great drinking coffee on the little porch with the stunning view of the mountains. The house is equipped with everything you’d need for cooking or the beach. Communication with the owners was perfect. I’d stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Home Away from Home!
Wendy's place was spacious and very inviting. The kitchen was very well-equipped - one of the best we have ever seen. We enjoyed having our breakfast on the lanai every morning with the most colorful birds chirping away in the surrounding trees. We very much appreciated having beach chairs available. We headed to Po'ipu beach to watch dozens of large sea turtles come onto the beach at sunset. We contacted Wendy with a few questions and she responded immediately. We could not have hoped for a better host. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great North Shore condo!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely consider staying again if we return to Kauai. Wendy was super helpful and left very good instructions/recommendations. The only downside was that the kitchen was not particularly well-equipped. My wife and I both love cooking and we always like to explore local farmers markets and cook at least a couple meals while traveling. That’s why we generally pick VRBOs over hotels to begin with. The kitchen had essentials, but no chef’s knife at all and no sharpener for the assorted dull and flimsy knives provided. There was also no mixer (either manual or electric). Lastly, there were nearly 2 dozen coffee mugs but not a single wine glass.

Aloha David, Thank you for the feed back I will purchase some good knives and a sharpener. There should have been an electric hand mixer in the lower cabinet to the left of the stove. There are wine glasses there without stems. I purchased them and I guess they don't look like wine glasses. Hope you return!! Mahalo, Wendy

It felt like a home-away-from-home due to the comfortable bed, comfortable pillows, plush towels, lovely furnishings and lamps, high speed internet, abundant kitchenware and supplies. We made good use of the beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkel masks.

Great location!
Overall loved our stay here! Had a mishap trying to check in (could have been we traveled all day and we were brain dead at this point but we did not find the directions easy) that being said, Wendy answered immediately when we called and directed us to the right place. The actual condo is very nice, spacious, and clean! Also such a good location next to turtle cave/queens bath (although this is closed right now) and a great view of the water off the cliffs. We enjoyed being able to cook a little and use their beach chairs when we did go down to the beach. We would definitely recommend!
