Nice place with more room than you would think
I stayed here with three other adults for a planning weekend for lesson plans. We had ample room and would have had room for more. The kitchen is very well stocked and the house was clean. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars for cleanliness was because my friend found a clump of hair in her bedding. I’m guessing it was just caught after washing as everything else seemed up to par.

Turned into a winter wonder....did not expect that much snow. Cut our visit due to extreme weather.
Started out very nice, and then the snow began to hit the area and we had up to 14 inches of snow. We did not come prepared for that. But we had a good visit, and saw some of the area. We left early due to the weather conditions.

Great Cabin in Awesome Location
Loved our stay at the cabin! Plenty of space for our large family and just a short drive to our favorite lakes and places in Prescott! Everything was clean and sitting on the large deck in the morning listening to the sounds of nature can’t be beat.

Great Prescott home near Goldwater Lake
Home was well-stocked with everything we needed. Great location between Prescott and Prescott Valley and only a few minutes away from Goldwater Lake. Property manager was quick to respond to emails and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Family Time
My family all met for a few days at the Blue Cabin. It was mostly quiet as you are still in a neighborhood with people living there full time. The cabin was clean and had nice extra touches like tissue and extra bathroom products. The washer and dryer are very nice and appreciated how clean they were. The downfall would be my mother could not watch a movie with us upstairs since the stairs can be tricky to navigate. There is a tv in the master suite.

Cool Mountain Retreat
We had a great time staying at this beautiful house for a long weekend. It is exactly as described and shown in the photos. It is a quiet neighborhood in the forest and with the convenience of nearby Prescott.

The little blue cabin was perfect for my family! It had plenty of space, comfy beds, extra blankets, lots of kids toys, and great appliances for laundry and cooking. It was clean and is in a beautiful area. We would love to visit again!

I felt so comfortable here
The layout was perfect. The bedding was very comfortable. Loved the two decks and spent lot's of time enjoying the nature. The neighborhood is really cute, quiet and has great access to the wilderness. We saw lots of wildlife while there. No TV in the living room but we took full advantage of the Echo Dot and listened to music while hanging out, cooking, and relaxing on the deck. Couple things to consider for future guests. The screen door on the front handle needs some attention it is loose and the door doesn't close properly. There is a solid door behind it so it didn't bother us much. Also I really love a Kurig option so just something to consider. There was a coffee pot with plenty of grounds so it wasn't that big of a deal. We checked in early which was great. I had an elderly person with me who found the layout perfect to navigate as she walks with a cane. All walkways are well lite at night.

Blue Cabin Senior Ladies weekend.
The cabin was very nice. I would say we needed 1 more bed on the main floor as the stairs were steep and the futon not comfortable in the loft as well as no bathroom upstairs. I would have loved a tv in the downstairs living space to watch movies as a group. We enjoyed everything else about the cabin but if you are an older person, the platform beds are not comfortable.

Blue House in the Woods
Everything was good except the beds were uncomfortable. Even our sons in late 20’s early 30’s were not comfortable. Very nice kitchen, very clean, and a nice size, but as someone beginning to feel my age, those beds would be almost impossible for anyone much older to use. Also because two doors had coded locks, it was unclear exactly which one we were to use upon arrival. Wonderful family weekend getaway!

The home is beautiful clean and up to date. It has every item you could possibly need including sugar and flour. Towels are well stocked. The bedding is awesome. The upstairs loft is so cute and it is arranged in a manner that is super kid friendly. The items that are in that area are clean and in good condition, our younger kiddo who 8 practically stayed up there with all the toys and books. The neighbors are nice friendly and helpful. The wildlife was out and about. The yard is well done so that you can enjoy the patios and weather. The contact persons were available when we had questions. I am going back! Our family really enjoyed this location.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
This is one of the first cabins that we stay at that actually looks like the pictures on the listing. It is clean, quiet, and very spacious. My family absolutely loved this cabin, and we are thinking of coming back for the summer. This property is totally recommended and the host is absolutely amazing with communication and hospitality. Definitely will come back to this location.

I should have asked more questions when renting. From the pictures I thought the front door had just a step and the deck was on the back. Turns out the deck was in front of the house and 5 steps without a handrail was hard for my dad. Great place for younger families.

Super clean and well appointed. We had small kiddos so it was a nice surprise to have the toys waiting for them in the loft . The front deck was a very enjoyable space. Having TVs in all the rooms except the main common area was a nice break from the norm. I'd highly recommend this location for a nice get away.

Beautiful setting in the forest, lots of light. House well maintained. Problem areas: Dishes, glasses and silverware all needed to be cleaned. Food particles dried on plates and some on silverware. Glasses had undetermined particles. We washed everything either by hand (scrubbed dishes to get food off) or in the dishwasher. Some rinse aid in the dishwasher would help glassware. Plastic plates for outside dining were cracked and unsightly. Kitchen was nicely stocked with cookware, washer and dryer performed well, nice to have detergent and dryer sheets, fridge was adequate - we left some bottled water. Would be nice to have a working ice maker and water from the fridge. Beds left a bit to be desired being low to the ground. Master bed was not very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Ceiling fans were appreciated. Loft was a bonus. Beautiful Milky Way came up across the street.

A cool getaway
My husband and I rented this cabin to escape the Phoenix heat. (Unfortunately Prescott was also experiencing its own heat advisory) Our stay was very enjoyable and our kids and grandkids joined us for part of the stay. We all enjoyed the proximity to Goldwater Lake. The house was everything it was described to be and we had a wonderful time.

Our stay at the Blue Cabin on Walton was great. We went fishing down the road, rented a canoe, kayack. Great Golden Lake, very friendly park. Ate at Dos Pinos Mexican restaurant, and Rosa's Pizza. The cabin had everything we needed. Great accommodations. Watched and viewed the sunset, stars, and the weather was great in June.

A Great Getaway
The cabin was very clean and cozy. We played board games and built a cozy fire. It is definitely nestled in the woods. We cooked a bit in the kitchen which was well supplied with everything we needed. We enjoyed the nearby lake. All in all it was a very nice stay.

My family rented the blue cabin for a spring break weekend getaway. We traveled with children and a 7 month old and the cabin did not diassapoint. It had all the comforts of home, but in a woodsy setting. It was nice to have use of the highchair for the baby and toys and games for the kids! The place was clean and inviting. Very close to Goldwater Lake for fishing, hiking or picnicking. We were surprised by snow which was nice! I would recommend for any families looking for a nice place to stay.
