„Wir sind selber keine Golfer, aber mit zwei schönen Plätzen direkt vor der Hoteltür ist das ein Traum für Golfer. Service und Essen sehr gut. Zimmer sehr gut, wenn auch nicht erstklassig“

„Typisches britisches Landhotel, familäre Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal, Superküche.“

„Beste Lage!“

„Aside from a member of staff called Kane who was exceptionally helpful, our experience for a birthday break was beyond disappointing. We initially stayed at the sister property The Swan in Tarporley where staff were outstanding but at The Lion we were greeted in what can only be described as very patronising, unwelcoming and brusque, by who we understand to be Beth. „Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent.“

„Clean functional rooms. Neat snack bar and bar in communal area with okay coffee. Excellent breakfast and good value. Quiet rural location.“

„Wer mobil ist “

„The room was a bit small making it feel claustrophobic. But it was clean and the bed comfy. The staff were very friendly“

„The breakfast was outstanding and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you stay there make sure to also have dinner in their restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.“

„During our stay there was a water pipe burst that you still had not solved after two days.“

„Einfach ein schönes Wohnen im Schloss. Sehr gutes Personal“
