I’m sorry that the experience didn’t meet your expectations- Our hotel is very historic as it was built in 1881 and our owners personally designed the HVAC system, as well as managed the LEED certification and historic review processes. We ended up with a central HVAC system that heats and cools by floor, so we are somewhat limited ability to manage the climate in each room. Our solution is to be able to adjust the airflow from the hearting grilles, have a guest controlled fan in each room, and provide additional heaters or blankets, as desired. You can request these items 24/7 with the number provided on your key sleeve. We hope this information helps for when/if you decide to visit us again! Best wishes, The Society Hotel
