We very much appreciate you making our Guesthouse your Portland home away from home.For those reading this review, I am happy to share the following regarding street parking.Amy first arrived during the most congested time for street parking (4-8PM) on a rainy Saturday night. Our Guesthouse is virtually surrounded by myriad of excellent dining options on NW 21st and NW 23rd Avenues, which makes our neighborhood (Portland’s best!) even more popular during those hours. Factor in the rain and a 6PM Portland Timbers soccer match (their final match of the season) and yes, street parking in our neighborhood was truly more congested than normal that night.Additionally, as I shared with Amy during our phone conversation, there is a pay to park, off-street parking lot (the name is Universal Parking) located 1/2 block from our door. It is available 4PM to 9AM Monday through Friday and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday. In conclusion, we share the following with all guests via their confirmation and street parking permit emails..."our Guesthouse is in a dense, urban neighborhood (Portland's best!) and parking reflects that." I'm sorry that the guest did not read any of the correspondence we sent and is in each guest room regarding all aspects of the guesthouse. I'm confused about their inability to find the breakfast room. I guess that kind of sums it all up :)
