Unfortunately, the hotel was built in 1909 and travelers needs were different back then, and in turn the bathrooms are not as large. The guest amenity fee is a industry standard which helps our team maintain our facilities and amenities, along with paying our team a liveable wage. Our hope is overtime our guests will be able to enjoy our facility's and amenities fee free. As for the outdated bathrooms, I agree that they are not luxurious by todays standards. Hopefully with hard work and determination our team will be able to renovate them, as was our goal for breakfast and soon we will be offering breakfast to guests! I agree that our hotel has a amazing location, near many fabulous restaurants, bars, and stores. I do see your point about our bathrooms however our hope is over time with hard work and determination we will be able to renovate our outdated bathrooms to make guest's experience more satisfactory.
