The whole 1865 Cream City brick house: 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, sleeps 14. Walk 4 blocks to Lake Michigan and 5 minutes to Port Washington’s marina, shops and restaurants.

Kids and dogs welcome. Wood-burning stove, baby grand piano, spa baths with a soaking tub, two full kitchens, two washer/dryers, deck with grill and fire pit, free parking. Built for family reunions, wedding weekends, girls’ trips and fishing crews.

Home Port is the whole house: two full apartments joined by an inside stairwell, so your group can spread out and still gather together. Each half is also listed on its own: Be Still & Know (downstairs) and Grace Adventure House (upstairs).

SLEEPING (up to 14)
Downstairs, step-free:
• King wrought-iron canopy suite with private ensuite bath
• Queen wrought-iron sleigh bed
• Leather queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress
Upstairs, 13 steps:
• Kids’ room: queen bed, a twin bunk above and a toddler bed that turns into a fort
• Second queen bedroom, plus a secret reading nook
• Queen pull-out sleeper sofa
• Graco Pack ’n Play for the little ones

COMFORT
• Downstairs spa baths: heated Spanish tile floors, two-person soaking tub and Venetian marble multi-spray showers
• Wood-burning stove and a baby grand piano
• Eastern European antiques, games and books upstairs
• Big-screen TVs, fast Wi-Fi and workspaces
• Air conditioning and radiant heat

KITCHENS & GATHERING
• Two full kitchens, including a gourmet one with a 5-burner gas range and air-fry oven
• Long dining table for group meals
• Two sets of washers and dryers

OUTSIDE
• Big back deck with a gas grill and fire table
• Backyard fire pit for s’mores and stargazing
• Front porch with wicker chairs and a peek of Lake Michigan
• Free parking on site

GOOD TO KNOW
• Downstairs is step-free by ramp, and the ensuite walk-in shower is wheelchair accessible. Upstairs is 13 steps.

• In warmer months I sometimes stay in my motorhome parked out back. If I’m around, I’ll say hello and then give you your privacy.

THE TOWN
Downtown and the marina are a 5–10 minute walk and the beach about 15. Pirates’ Hollow waterpark is around the corner, and Sauk Creek Nature Preserve, with its little waterfalls, is a 15-minute walk. Lake Michigan fishing charters run from the marina. Harrington Beach State Park, Lion’s Den Gorge, Cedarburg, Kohler and Milwaukee are all short drives.
