Great Location perfect for multifamily or a group. This is a 5 BR 4 Bath (& 1 half bath) beachfront home! Sleeps 14 in Beds & 2 on a pull out sleeper sofa (Max guests 16). Located directly on the beach; no busy road to cross! This is a great home for one large family or two smaller families that care to share the cost of a beach rental. With five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and one large kitchen and living space, everyone will have enough space to spread out. Wake up to a beautiful beach view and enjoy your coffee while listening to the relaxing sounds of the ocean.
Minimum age to rent: 25 years
We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance, such as CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) or whatever suits your personal needs (weather, COVID, other trip issues).
The space: "A Wave from it All" is a beautifully finished beach front house. Located directly on the beautiful white sand beaches of Cape San Blas. "A Wave from it All"also offers convenient access to St. Joseph Bay across the street, so bring your kayaks. An elevator is available at the home, and the elevator is serviced yearly by the elevator company. [Function of the elevator is not guaranteed.] Everything you need to make your vacation one of a lifetime is at your fingertips. If for some reason what you need is not provided, you are in close proximity to Scallop Cove which provides rental items and other necessities. Moving in with your beach gear is a breeze with private parking is available just outside the front door for up to 5 cars or 4 full-size SUVs. Fencing marks the driveway and parking areas. Just walk out the door, and paradise awaits. The property boasts HDTVs with Rokus throughout the home, live channels via YouTube TV, as well as high speed wifi that is perfect for streaming.
Important: This home sleeps 16 (14 in beds + 2 in sleeper sofa) - Maximum guests allowed is 16.
Property is Dog Friendly with pet fee. There is a non refundable pet fee of $150 per pet, up to two dogs. Pet owners must clean up after pets. Dogs are not allowed on furniture under any circumstances. Some restrictions may apply.
All bed linens and interior towels are included. Please bring your own beach towels. Full size washer and dryer are available in the laundry room on the first level.
A play yard, high chair, and baby gate are located in the closet for guest use. Please note, no linens are provided for the play yard. Additional baby equipment may be rented from BabyQuip.

The kitchen is well equipped with granite counter tops, new stainless steel appliances (including both a full size refrigerator/freezer, a second refrigerator for refreshments in the laundry room) and all the essentials for preparing meals for the family. Everything you need to serve 16 people is available including dishes, flatware, and glassware. A full set of cookware (including large pots for crowds) and utensils are also provided. There is a drip and Keurig coffee maker; bring your own favorite coffee and filters. No waiting in line and no reservations required when you have your own home instead of just a hotel room!
The lower and upper decks provide amazing views of the Gulf, outdoor seating is available to enjoy the scenery. On the ground level, there is a BBQ grill and an outside shower which helps to keep salt & sand outside the home.
This property requires a security deposit, it will be collected separately by the property prior to check in. This security is a credit card hold that may be released after check out if no damages occur (please refer to rental agreement upon booking).
Note: Two security cameras record the driveway in the front of the property.

Florida's hot and humid weather is not only lovely for visitors, but for endemic insects too. Endemic insects and fauna may occasionally find their way into our home. To prevent local resident pests from enjoying our home, we do have regularly scheduled pest control treatments to keep the home pest free. Guests may help prevent insects from joining them by keeping doors and windows closed, wiping down counters, and putting away food properly.

Snorkeling Grab some gear, dive flag and walk out in the bay or beach Crabbing On the beach at sunset to see ghost crabs Use a crab cage for lots of crabs Scalloping (during open season) Use snorkel equipment and go to 2-6 ft deep water around grassy areas. Most people find it easier to find by boat or kayak to get to deeper water. St Joseph Peninsula State Park Hiking trails Loggerhead Run Bike Path Eight mile trail on Cape San Blas that runs from St. Joseph Peninsula State Park to Salinas Park along Hwy 30E/Cape San Blas Road. Cape San Blas Lighthouse Park by the rocks on CSB and walk about a half mile on the beach to see the old location. Find the cement footings and look for bald eagles. St. Joseph Bay State Buffer Preserve Center Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Center Bird Watching Season is from Fall to Spring. So many birds flock to our area, so keep an open eye. There are typically bald eagles by the rocks. Salinas Park Beach or Bay side access. Playgrounds, pickleball courts, volleyball courts, picnic area, BBQ and more! Cape Palms Park Visit the Point of the Cape This is where the "Donna Kay" was located Harder pack sand, perfect for walking
