BE AWARE - Unattended damage and no response from management @ Pristine Properties Vacation Rentals
This was so very disappointing!
We stayed at this property back in May and had an incredible time with family. The main reason we chose this property is the dock that leads to the bay, since we love to kayak. This feature is also pointed out in the listing.
For our return visit two weeks ago with friends, we received a phone message from the management company - Pristine Properties Vacation Rentals - two hours before our arrival that the dock is blocked off due to damage to the steps at the dock. Again, the dock is the main reason we chose this property. We drove over 7 hours with friends who also brought all their gear, and the dock was blocked due to damage from a storm 3 weeks earlier.
It was so disappointing, and the management team and had plenty of time not only to attend to the repairs (the steps could have been easily repaired in an hourâmainly because they needed to be secured to the dock) but also should have contacted us many days before we drove all the way. I also called and used the text options multiple times and was promised three separate times that Suzanne on the management team would call me back and address our disappointment, but I never got such a call. We have been coming to the Cape since 1984 and have never had such a disappointing experience and bad communication from a management company.
