Ideal for families and groups, this stunning 2-story duplex has everything: HEATED pool, outdoor lounge and dining, BBQ, space-themed game room, 3 huge TVs, EV charging, king-size ensuite and sitting room, full size washer/dryer, and custom workstation + bunk room. Located 10 min from South Padre Island, you can experience the best of both worlds: the tranquility of the bay and the excitement of the beach.

Welcome to your cosmically cool getaway located at the Gateway to Mars! This brand new luxury custom townhome is the perfect space for both leisure and work, and it's ideal for space enthusiasts, families, friends, or anyone looking for an amazing vacation.

YOUR SPACE: This spacious and modern unit has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

- Bedroom #1: The king-sized primary bedroom features a 65" smart TV, a custom wall-to-wall window bench, and a private sitting area for quiet time away from the kids. There are two large closets, a full size mirror, and a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with his-and-hers sinks. The shower features terracotta tiles and a shower bench.

- Bedroom #2: The queen-size second bedroom showcases ultra-comfortable bedding and plenty of storage with the oversize dresser and full-size closet with French doors.

- Bedroom #3: The kids will not be able to get enough of this completely custom bunk room! This room has two sets of twin-over-queen bunks (a total of 4 beds) and can sleep 6. No worrying about uncomfortable ladders with the extra wide bunk staircase that doubles as a seating area to watch the 55" smart TV. There is no need to worry about storage, as the bunks have custom extra-deep drawers underbed, a built-in dresser, and a full closet with French doors.

- Bathroom #2: This bathroom is shared for the queen bedroom and bunk bed room, and has an extra-large storage cabinet for plenty of fluffy towels and extra linens. This bathroom has a soaking tub, perfect for little ones.

- Kitchen and Dining: This oversize kitchen has everything: quartz countertops, a custom hood with terracotta tile backsplash, an undermount sink with pull-down faucet/sprayer, all new stainless appliances (electric oven and stove, garbage disposal, full fridge, and dishwasher), and fully custom oak cabinetry that reaches the 9' ceilings, providing miles of storage space. The dining table comfortable seats 8-10.

- Living Room: This open-concept living space has two super-comfy sofas, a color-tunable ceiling fan, a uniquely Cosmic Cactus-themed gallery wall, and a 75" smart TV.

- Garage: Welcome to the ultimate space-themed game room! Set the new high score on our retro arcade games, try your hand at billiards or ping pong, or play some boardgames with friends.

INDOOR AMENITIES: we provide all bed linens, shower towels and pool towels, dishware, cookware, a dishwasher pod and laundry pod, bath gels, and coffee + tea. Coffee maker is a stainless drip machine. We provide high-speed wifi networks with Spectrum. There are remote controlled ceiling fans in each room, and our separate upstairs and downstairs air conditioning are connected to Google Nest systems which can be controlled from the smart wall thermostats on the each floor individually. There is a full-size stackable washer dryer in the garage. Tesla mobile-connector (240V) power cord for EV charging provided for daily rental upon request.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Cosmic Cactus A has tons of shared outdoor amenities. Had a long day? Enjoy the sunsets from our outdoor lounge area. Going fishing? Cook up your catch at our outdoor charcoal grill or enjoy dining al fresco at our outdoor dining area for 8 (grilling tools are provided - just pick up a bag of charcoal and you're ready to go!). Rinse off at the outdoor showers located by the side of the house before letting your cares float away in our brand new heated swimming pool, or work on your tan with a book at our poolside lounge space. Please note that backyard is a SHARED amenity amongst guests of the Cosmic Cactus property, and the pool is shared with our sister property right next door, Casa Cactus.

OTHER PROPERTIES: Please note that Cosmic Cactus A is one of two units in a private townhome. Your space is entirely your own, however you may be next door to other guests. Please contact us directly if you are interested in renting the entire house for large groups. Not seeing the dates you're looking for? ENTRANCE AND PARKING: There is parking for two vehicles on the driveway in front of the house, and space on the driveway to tandem park additional vehicles.

KEYS & SECURITY: We utilize smart locks for all of our properties. No need to worry about keys, as you will receive a unique access code for your stay, to be released on the day of your check-in. Simply punch in the code on the door and you will be able to enter and leave as you please. We also have security cameras monitoring the parking lot and front doors of all units.

LOCATION: This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Port Isabel, Texas. We are next door to a local park with a walking track, playground, and basketball court. Grocery stores are 1 mile away and we are a 2 minute drive from the bay-front restaurants in Port Isabel and the entrance to the bridge that connects Port Isabel to South Padre Island. We are also just a couple blocks from the historic lighthouse downtown. The benefit of staying in Port Isabel is the tranquility of the bay and also access to the shops in the mainland without needing to deal with the noise or traffic on the Island, however you are just a 7 minute drive from all the excitement and fireworks. There is a free shuttle bus that will take you from Port Isabel to the beach.

Port Isabel is a charming city in the southern tip of Texas, with a rich history and a scenic location on the Laguna Madre Bay. It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, birdwatching, and enjoying the coastal views and SPACEX launches. It is the ideal small fishing town getaway for visitors seeking natural beauty and tranquility.

THINGS TO DO: Everything. Surfing, fishing, go-karts, zip-lines, mini-golf, horseback riding, waterpark, boogie boarding, tacos and margaritas, beachside and bayside restaurants and cafes, sunset cruises, and of course miles and miles of soft sand. SPACEX: As you may have heard, the SpaceX rocket launches occur nearby at Boca Chica! We recommend checking the SpaceX website for updated dates and times of their launches. During these launches you can hear the rocket from the house - in fact, some of the absolute best viewing sites for the launches are right here in Port Isabel, just a few blocks away!

A local park is just 500 feet away from the house. A Free shuttle bus stops at this park and takes guests between Port Isabel and South Padre Island (SPI).

We provide all guests with two complimentary bottles of water upon arrival, however we recommend guests to also purchase water during their stay, as the tap water can have a high salt content.
