Welcome to Villa Tropical, the ideal Punta Gorda vacation home. This gorgeous canal front home is surrounded on three sides by water. Look through the front entrance to the expansive living room and a wall of windows overlooking the private pool, spa and tranquil canal. The master suite has a private walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with a steam shower and double sink, as well as direct access to the pool and spa. At the other end of the Villa, are two beautifully furnished bedrooms with closets and a shared bathroom, complete with tub, shower, and double sink vanity. This property accommodates up to 8 overnight guests. Three king beds and 1 queen hide-a-bed are available. Kindly seek prior permission before hosting additional visitors.

The villa's living room is designed for entertainment and relaxation, where you can discover various books, games, and puzzles suitable for all age groups. Additionally, peruse through magazines that offer insights into the local surroundings. This unique home also has a gas fireplace in the living room, which you can enjoy on rare occasions when there is a chill in the air. Our goal is to make Villa Tropical your ultimate retreat.

Unwind by the newly renovated heated salt-water pool and spa, then enjoy al fresco dining with an outdoor dining table and grill, all within the lanai. Gather around the propane coffee table firepit in comfortable outdoor seating and take in the panoramic view of the canal and dock, while watching for manatees and dolphins. For those seeking adventure, we provide 2 kayaks, 4 bicycles, fishing rods, and a private dock. Please be mindful that due to wildlife considerations, swimming in the canal is not recommended. All amenities are provided free of charge.

Villa Tropical is ideally situated, providing easy access to the area's many attractions and fine restaurants. A mere 25-minute walk will lead you to Fishermen’s Village, downtown’s vibrant bars, restaurants, and charming shops. Should you wish to explore further, a short 34-minute drive will take you to downtown Fort Myers.

As a thoughtful gesture, a chilled bottle of sparkling wine awaits in the refrigerator for your enjoyment. Please let us know in advance if you wish otherwise.

Your well-being, adherence to local guidelines, and preserving the property's integrity are our foremost priorities. Enforcement and associated charges rarely become necessary. We earnestly request that our guests extend due respect to the property and the neighborhood.

Obligations of the Booking Guest:
As the individual responsible for the booking, please be aware that you must ensure that your guests adhere to all House Rules.

Neighbor Relations and Noise Considerations/ City Ordinance Compliance:
Respect the boundaries of our property and ensure that your guests do not trespass onto our neighbors' premises. In the event of any complaints from neighbors, prompt action will be required on your part, and failure to address the issue may result in you being asked to leave the property.

All guests are expected to adhere to the ordinances of the City of Punta Gorda. A link to the city ordinances is provided in the Guest Manual.

You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise respectful during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of private property. Quiet hours must be observed from 9 PM onwards. Note that our property is equipped with a noise-detecting device called NoiseAware, which monitors noise levels in decibels. If prolonged and excessive noise is detected, I will receive an alert and may contact you accordingly to address the situation. Excessive noise that disturbs the neighbors can lead to forfeiture of your damage deposit and potential eviction. Please refrain from frequent nighttime entrances and exits or activating door lock remotes, as these actions can disturb our neighbors.

Parties and Events:
No parties or events are permitted. The maximum occupancy in the home is 8 people at any given time, both for gatherings and overnight stays. Prior consent is necessary to bring additional guests into the property.

Smoking:
Smoking or vaping is prohibited within the property's indoor and outdoor areas.

Fireworks:
Fireworks are not allowed on the premises.

Pet Policy:
Pets are not permitted on the property unless explicit approval has been granted. Bully breeds are not permitted. A non-refundable pet fee of $250 per pet applies to approved cases. Pets must remain off furniture and bedding and should be leashed when walking outside. Free roaming by pets on the property is not allowed. Please promptly clean up after your pet and deposit any waste in separate plastic bags before disposing of them in the regular garbage can. Remember to use a liner in the regular garbage can (95-gallon liners are available in the garage).

Waste Disposal Guidelines:
Garbage Collection: Garbage is collected on Tuesday & Friday. Please take the garbage cans from the outside area by the side garage door to the street on Monday and Thursday evenings after 6 p.m.

Recyclable Collection: Recycled garbage is also picked up on Tuesday, so the recycled garbage can also go out on Monday evening.

Please return the cans to the garage before 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday. Please do not leave the garbage cans in front of the garage door as they damage it. If cans are outside when you arrive on any day other than Monday and Thursday evening, please return them to the garage. Please place a garage can liner in the regular garbage can after emptying it. Prior to check-out, please remove all garbage from the cans inside the house and place it in the outdoor garbage cans, including the diaper pail if used.

Miscellaneous Items:
Parcel Deliveries: Amazon has access to the garage for parcel deliveries. If you find any packages left on the front doorstep, kindly place them inside the garage.

Toilet Usage: Please advise your guests not to dispose of tampons or sanitary napkins in the toilet. These items can clog the drain and lead to plumbing issues.

Electric Vehicle Charging: The property is not equipped for guests to charge their electric vehicles. Attempting to do so could damage the electrical system, for which you would be held responsible.

Surveillance Equipment:
Please note that there are no recording devices within the interior of the home, nor the back deck, patio, pool, or dock area. A Ring Doorbell is positioned at the front entrance and actively captures audio and visual information. Views of the surveillance cameras are provided in the Guest Manual.

Plenty to do in the area. House was in great shape. Grace was incredible to work with. If she wasn’t available she made sure her assistant was available. We accidentally left some items at the house and Grace mailed them to us without hesitation. If you are going to Punta Gorda this is the place to stay, close to everything and lots to do.

Location was very relaxing and active with available bikes and kayaks. Pool was as it should be and all surrounding areas quiet and people pleasant. Everything you need is there except the food of course but there plenty of places to dine close by. Memories were made here and I recommended for anyone that needs a quick getaway.

The photos and description of Villa Tropical say it all. The location of the home is convenient to all that Punta Gorda offers as well as offers easy access to the harbor for boaters. The current description omits a newly installed boat dock with power and water. Our 2-month stay allowed us to meet the wonderful and welcoming neighbors that made Villa Tropical feel like home. Additionally, as a host, Grace is readily available and responsive with a willingness to make your stay everything it should be.

Beautiful and relaxing vacation house
We had a wonderful 10 days in this house. We enjoyed the heated swimming pool looking out on the peaceful canals, with everything from boats to herons to dolphins passing by. The house and outdoor terrasse are roomy enough for 2 families, with a great, well-stocked kitchen and a large outdoor BBQ/eating/pool area. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and large. Grace was very helpful and responsive before and during our stay. We would come back again gladly!

Wonderful place
The home is beautiful - everything the pictures show and more. It couldn’t be better furnished or equipped. Everything you might need is there. But often the true test of a good place to stay is when something goes work. As home owners we all know that inevitably at some point things break. Well we arrived and something broke. What was amazing and special was how immediately responsive Grace was. She immediately understood the problem and had a specialist service person there within an hour (at 7pm at night). The problem was fixed and our stay was delightful. Couldn’t be more positive about the entire stay and all our interactions.
