Almost like camping even with the rain, but we were dry and comfortable inside the fale. Dinner and breakfast was plentiful traditional island food with some modern additions. Make sure you bring cash to pay for your stay as the nearest eftpos in an hour away“

„Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin.“

„Das Retreat ist in den Zimmern etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber absolut ausreichend für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer haben alles was man braucht inkl Ventilator, Kühlschrank und Geschirr. Die Lage zum Flughafen ist praktisch, ebenso zur BlueLagoon. Der Strand ist sehr ruhig und es stehen Sonnenliegen zur Verfügung. An der Rezeption können direkt Roller gemietet werden (Trotz Aussage das man nichts weiter braucht außer dem internationalen Führerschein trotzdem kurz zur Policestation für ...

„What a nice "hotel". It doesn't have the typical hotel flair with a lobby etc. and that's what makes this accommodation so special. The rooms as well as the lounge are stylishly furnished - modern but the house is original. It has a beautiful garden. There is even a small breakfast buffet - delicious. The location is also perfect for excursions such as "Road to Hana" or watching the sunset in Haleakala. Would choose this accommodation again anytime. Thank you“

„As a solo traveler, I felt like this lodge was perfect! I felt safe and comfortable. A great sunset view from backyard. Host, Mina also made sure it was clean very day. Mina was so sweet and helped me know closet restaurants, and grocery stores, etc. Definitely enjoyed my stay. “

„Great place to stay, the apartment looked so much nicer than it did on the photos. Everything was very clean and tidy, the kitchen machines are of great quality (dishwasher, oven, microwave from Bosch, Weber gas barbecue etc.) the breakfast was self serve with organic eggs, organic milk, kona coffee etc. The owner outs very nice.“

„Das Hotel ist sehr alt und schon lange nicht mehr renoviert worden ... Das Problem ist, dass der Betreiber insgesamt 4 Hunde im Erdgeschoss hält ... Ich habe nichts gegen Hunde, ganz im Gegenteil ... leider riecht das ganze Hotel allerdings danach, besonders nach Urin, da anscheinend die Hunde nicht ganz Stubenrein sind ...“
