She took us up with a 1920 original elevator with our luggage. The castle has claims of paranormal activity but, we did not experience anything unusual. âOlder motel, but service was very good. Rooms are large. Carpet was certainly cleaned, but after some cycles of cleaning carpet really is used. So is the bathroom. Lighting could be better, but not a problem for one night stay. Very helpful and friendly staff.â

âBeautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.â
