Great Location, Great Property
Our stay was fantastic from the first day to the last. John's home is welcoming and had everything we needed for our two week stay. The short walk to the beach was wonderful and you could hear the waves crashing the shoreline from the deck of the house. We will definitely be back!!

Away from it all!
Great property. We were prepared and brought everything we’d need for our stay. Weather was amazing and the island couldn’t be more comfortable. The beach offered spectacular walks and our dogs made lots of buddies. Highly recommend.

The house was so pretty and private it had absolutely everything you need to cook or just go to the beach. The waves just crashing as you sit outside it was amazing we will definitely be back love LGI❤️

This home is one of the best! I have been staying on LGI for ocer 20years and this home met all exspectations. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The home had everything we needed and was very spacious. We will definitely be back!

No place like LGI
We have a house on LGI that was severely damaged in Ian. When I contacted John @ staying in his place, he was so kind & understanding of our situation. He was very accommodating & responded quickly. His place was neat & clean & very well stocked with really everything you need for LGI vacation. Clearly a lot of thought in making sure our stay was easy & comfortable. I especially loved the outdoor shower complete with sea breezes, moon & stars🌕⭐️⭐️I appreciate those details so much! I highly recommend John’s corner LGI oasis just steps from the beautiful beach.

Little Gasparilla
House was perfect. Island is still rebuilding from the hurricane. There were a few days red tide was present. On those days we took our rental boat to another beach. I would highly recommend renting a boat if you dont have your own.

Loved the house
We had a wonderful time at this vacation rental. It was in wonderful shape considering a lot of the other homes were recovering from hurricane damage. The neighbors were kind and even offered to loan us their golf cart. The internet was the only issue. With 2 teens with us it definitely lagged a little bit. Would definitely recommend some additional DVD's so they younger kids can stay entertained at night. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely recommend to others in the future.

Apologies for the internet lag. I have since upgraded the service to add more data. Being on an island...internet is a premium. They charge us near $150 per month. I called them to upgrade the service and they are now telling me that we have double the data for the same price. They have lowered their cost and improved the service but I wouldn't have known without calling them and going through the new plans etcetera. There is a 2nd tv in the home that has straight antenna to get channels through the air waves and there are many dvd's underneath that tv - wide ranging from Forrest Gump to Jim Carrey movies etcetera. Peaceful beauty
The best place we have been to. Serene, quiet, gorgeous sunrises over the bay and sunsets over the gulf. Loved the island atmosphere and the people are so nice. Can't wait to get back.

Worth the work to get there!
As soon as you step off the water taxi you are in another world. Very clean, fun place fabulously decorated, comfortable and accommodating for all of your vacation needs. Takes some planning to get there. Reserve Pirates Water Taxi in advance. We weren’t able to get there the first night due to the taxi not running from high winds (25 mph) so had to spend the night elsewhere but that is part of island reality. We had to plan grocery run carefully but had all we needed once there. The beach is really amazing with hardly anyone there. We went on many jogs out and back along the beach. Wildlife is plentiful with osprey nests everywhere and abundant shell collecting. We rented a boat for three days from Abe’s so we could explore the channels, mangroves and other beaches as well as do a second grocery run, but you can also get groceries delivered. Keep trash in mind as you have to arrange for pickup or from it off at Eldred’s. Amazing stay, highly recommend for families if you are into a more rugged, laid back time that reflects what natural Florida can really be. Would be great to have a few kayaks or boogie boards to add. Thanks to John for being so helpful.

Perfect vacation spot for our fanily
We visited this rental with our two young children and my in-laws. My husband was interested in exploring with the boat we rented and fishing, in-laws walked the beach finding numerous shark teeth, and the kids and I spent the majority of our time on the beach playing in the sand and water. The location could not have been more perfect for our variety of needs and activities. Everyone we met was wonderful and kind. A friendly neighbor even lent my father in law a kayak for an adventure on the intercostal. John, our host, was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the stay with our various needs, including fishing advice, how to navigate to the island, etc. Overall, a delightful experience!

A Delightful Retreat

Great trip to Little Gasparilla!
We have been vacationing on LGI for 6 years now and this was the first time staying in this property. House was freshly redone and excellent in every way. Everything we needed was provided and hosts were super friendly and accommodating. House is tile throughout (perfect for beach property) and very close to ocean. Literally, less than 1 minute walk to be at the beach. Kitchen was large with lots of storage for food (super necessary on bridgeless island with no stores). My wife and I stayed here with our 3 teenage daughters and had plenty of room with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. WIFI worked flawlessly and allowed us to enjoy family movie nights after watching the beautiful sunsets at the beach. My wife's favorite part was the big garden soaker tub in master :-). Definitely recommend staying here and John and Margarita are excellent to work with.
