EXPLORE FROM HERE 

Desert Retreat makes a comfortable home base for exploring some of southeastern Nevada’s best scenery, history and outdoor recreation. Spend the day hiking through Cathedral Gorge State Park, exploring Pioche’s historic Main Street, heading out on nearby OHV trails, fishing at Eagle Valley Reservoir or simply slowing down and enjoying the mountain air. At night, come home, pour a drink, play a round of cards and step outside to a sky filled with stars.

HISTORIC PROPERTY NOTICE 

While Desert Retreat has been thoughtfully updated and offers a more modern stay, it is still a 1920s Pioche home. As with many properties in this historic mountain town, guests may encounter gravel, uneven outdoor surfaces, steps and seasonal conditions. 

Snow and ice can create slippery areas year round, so please use appropriate caution when entering and moving around the property. Desert Retreat is designed for guests who want the character and adventure of Pioche with a little more modern comfort waiting for them at the end of the day.
