Einfach nur schön

Das Objekt war genau wie beschrieben. Die Sauberkeit mit täglicher Reinigung inkl Abwasch war absolut top. Das Objekt wirkt auch nicht „in die Jahre gekommen“. Gastronomie ebenfalls sehr gut, wenn auch für Thailand teuer trotzdem nach europäischen Maßstäben in Ordnung. Tip: in Patong in der dritten Parallelstraße gibt’s authentisch Thai (schärfe nach Wunsch) zu Thaipreisen. Strand: Merlin Beach in 3 min zu Fuß mit einem genialen Korallenriff wenn man nur etwas weiter rausschwimmt! Patong spricht für sich. Hat auch viel mehr als nur Bangla Road!!! Sehr schöner Urlaub!

Relaxing Spot

This is really nice spot away from the chaos of the city. There is a courtesy shuttle to the city, and the tuk tusk were reasonable when we did want to take the courtesy shuttle bus. Spotless clean. Pleasant view. Helpful staff.

Unit needs major work.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the stench. Not just a little damp smell, but a full on stench that was unlike anything I’ve ever smelled. It was obviously related to to the AC unit, but beyond that, I can even begin to describe it. Next issue: internet. Which didn’t work half the time. Repeated calls to facilities could not seem to get it to work more than a few hours at a time, Another issue: security. Do the housekeepers not know that it is strictly forbidden to open up a door to clean a room, then step away from that room, leaving the door open, for up to 30 min? C’mon. Housekeeping 101. Now, the description of the room. I booked this because someone had said it had ‘sweeping views” of the bay. Nope. Peek a boo at best. We were a long way up the hill, way out side of town, and pretty much felt completely separated from anything from Phuket. So much so, the only place to eat. Was at the hotel. Finally, and the odd thing, this unit had major electrical issues. It cycled on and off about 20 times a day, crashing everything in the process. Repeated calls to facilities never got this issue fixed. I wanted to like this place. I spent several days there, and hate to walk away disappointed. But steal clear until they fix these issues.

Fabulous Location

We found the property to be very well maintained with friendly staff and wonderful amenities. The view is amazing and the small beach, within walking distance, made it even better. I enjoyed the location as it was quite but if you did desire to go to town the free shuttle was very reliable and convenient.

Awesome place, really friendly staffs

Spent 5 nights here, lovely views of the beach on your private balcony, nice and clean pools and other amenities. Services are great and all the staffs were nice. Free shuttle to Patong central was a big plus. Highly recommended!

Stayed 5 days in a ground floor pool access room (submitted different review (had water problems there)) and 10 days in sea view room (this review). Excellent value. Modern furnishings (my taste). Full kitchen. Good view of the sea (a little obstructed by high trees on the shoreline (not quite as good as the website picture, but still very nice)). Very nice balcony (spent a lot of time there). Overall location ok (a preference thing). Very quiet, but 15 minutes from town (via free resort shuttle (need to reserve (could be a problem if resort is busy))). The WiFi is a little weak (cuts in and out). Resort restaurant is expensive, but not needed (I only used it once (full kitchen advantage)). Most meals sourced at Big C (Jungceylon in Patong) and Family Mart (adjacent resort). A few things to note about the website description for this room: It is not a penthouse (3rd floor of 4). Seaview picture not exactly accurate (some obstructions from trees (looks like they were photoshopped out of the website picture)). There is no washing machine in this room (as implied by website). These three small misleading items may lead to underachieving expectations (as observed in other reviews I saw). Almost deducted a star for poor WiFi, but overall experience was still a 5. Hope to stay there again.

Nice, clean, modern, comfortable

I am so glad I decided to stay at this location even after I read the complaints review. This is one of the only properties that the pictures are very accurate. The place is very modern, nice and comfortable in every way (mattresses, couch...). Yes, there was a little noise of construction but I could barely hear it and I did stay indoors for 4 days out of my 5 nights of stay due to food poisoning that I got from one of the Patong restaurants that I ate in on the first day I got there. Only thing that might be negative to the people that want to be around busy area is that if you want to go to Patong by foot is way too far, about an hour walk. By taxi is about 300 Thai bat which is little less than US $10. The good thing is the resort provides daily complementary shuttle to the big mall in Patong and back every 2 hours and they are very prompt, nice and clean with professional drivers in new minivans. It is only few min walk to the beach and .8 Kilometers before Paradise beach which unfortunately I did not get a chance to visit due to my illness. The front desk is 24/7 with professional English speaking staff ready to assist and help, every time I called from my room they picked up on the 3rd or 4th ring which doesn’t usually happen on my visits outside the US. I definitely recommend this place specially if you want to be remote from the loud and busyness of Patong but at the same time have the option of a driver to take you back and forth for the times you do decide to go there. I am staying in Phuket for 15 nights and due to the negative review I decided to only stay for 5 nights at this property. I just checked out yesterday and checked into another property in Karon beach, what a joke, what a mistake. Nothing like the pictures in any way and the front desk is awful but I am not here to complain about another property. My mistake was to believe the complaint but so glad I tried it regardless. I really appreciate such a honest and sincere host, I wish everyone else would had been the same.

Clean and beautiful!

Clean, modern and beautiful! This little gem was perfect! Its a little outside of Patong but its a quick 5-7 min ride to town. The staff was very courteous and helpful when trying to plan our days. Language was a little bit of an obstacle but that was to be expected. Would recommend 100%.

What you see is Not what you get

I booked this unit based on the cover photo with the amazing open ocean view. However, this is NOT the view from the room being rented. Our view was more of a peekaboo view over buildings, electric wires, through tall trees and into a cove. Not the wide open ocean view seen on the listing. To say the least, we were very disappointed. And then there was the construction! It mentions this on the website, but is entirely understated. From 7:30AM to 7:30PM! Below you, to the right of you and to the left of you. Tile saws, Jack hammers, etc. It was not the relaxing trip we thought we were getting. The lani was completely unusable because of the noise and the pools were both noisy as well. The complex is at least doubling the amount of rooms and adding pools etc. It was impossible to escape without leaving the property. When I contacted Boris, he said that the construction should be finished in the next few months. (No help for us) And he said NOTHING about the fact that the unit view is totally misrepresented. He said he'd rebate $50 back for the unrelenting construction noise, but it didn't happen. Also, the listing lists a dryer. A small drying rack on the lani is Not a dryer. The actual room is nice and the people working at the complex were wonderful! We also liked the Blue Mango restaurant at the property and the shuttle to town was helpful. Once the construction is finished it will be a nice big resort. But if you book, know that you will have a limited bay view (looking sideways into the bay with the mountains behind) and Loud construction unles it's completed. I wish I'd known the facts and I would have went elsewhere.

Pretty Good Place

The place as advertised was pretty good, very clean and the staff were very accommodating. A couple notes of importance like; the ad showed a washer and dryer which we were counting on. When we arrived we discovered one did not exist. The staff were very good about getting a local laundry service and Boris covered the cost of the laundry. It would have been much better to know this up front. Second the ad advertises a penthouse suite. The suite is on the third level of four, so not a "penthouse". The on site restaurant is obscenely expensive charging double to triple what you pay in the nearby town I realize there is a captive audience but the prices where outrageous. We ate in our suite and that was just fine. Overall the palce was very comfortable.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying to Boris' place at Twin Sands. The room was perfect and the location was great for us. We could easily take the free shuttle into town or walk to one of the nearby beaches. The staff at Twin Sands helped make the stay even more enjoyable. I definitely hope to return soon.

My wife and i stayed here for about 10 days in April . The room itself is gorgeous. Everything in it is top of the line. It has almost everything you could possibly want for a vacation. However there were a few issues that could be addressed that would make your over all stay more enjoyable, most of which are just minor. One would be the lack of Tupperware to store food after making some in the kitchen. Another would be the variable maid service. One day i room would be totally clean, beds made, dishes done and then the next nothing but a few bottles of water placed in the refrigerator. None of these are big deals, just little things that could be changed to make the stay a little more enjoyable. We knew before going down that this place was under construction so we were prepared for that. I did not find it to be that bad, A little noisy at times and kinda ruins that gorgeous view you could have but in a year this place will be the best in Patong! Plus to be honest who spends that much time in there room when there is an entire country to explore! For us the location was perfect. it was within walking distance to 2 pretty nice beaches and within a short cab ride of a few others. It is about 5-10 minutes (depending on how FAST the driver goes) to downtown Patong which was just right for us. Plus they provide a free shuttle into town every 2 hours up until 10 pm which help save some money. For the price though this place cannot be beat!! And would love so see it when it is complete. But i am guessing the prices will rise.

The pictures don't do this place justice. It's modern with great appliances, warm staff and good location. They were doing construction while we were here but we didn't notice. The view is amazing and the onsite restaurant is wonderful. Excellent place, will did come back

Beautiful Condo

First off, I want to thank Boris for offering his condo through VRBO. I accommodations were perfect. Everything was clean, modern and fresh. I had an enjoyable trip to Phuket. The condo was far enough away from the madness of downtown, but close enough that I was able to venture into town whenever I chose. The people at the complex were wonderful. I had an issue slight issue with the wi-fi, but a nice lady came to the condo and we found a way around the issue. Everything else was great. I highly recommend the in-house restaurant. Had both breakfast and dinner there on multiple days. Once again, thank you Boris!

Relaxing seview resort close to everything - I will be back

We really enjoyed our stay at Relax @ Twin Sands. The resort is brand new, modern, clean and quiet, which is very convenient if you don't like the cheap mass tourism. In November there was still a bit of rain but only at night and it never lasted long. So we really enjoyed many days of sun, two pools, beaches, massages, and delicious Thai food at the on-site restaurant. Boris was a great host. He helped us to get a scooter rented for only 250 BTH (around US$8 at the resort) and it was delivered right to our apartment. Pretty cool. Everything is close to the resort. We went to the beaches around the resort (Paradise, Patong, and Kharon), to shopping, massages and restaurants. There is an excellent restaurant at the resort (Blue Mango), ideal for breakfast and romantic diners. Some days we felt lazy, so we cooked simple snacks in our studio and we also ordered by phone to the restaurant so we could just stay and relax at the pool. A new five star hotel is under construction across the street but this apartment is not close to the street, so that never disturbed us. The view was stunning, a green hill on one side and sea view on the other. If you want to be in the middle of Patong but stay in a relaxing area with sea view, this is a great place. I’ll be back for sure.
