Description
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Ahwatukee Foothills has a lot of parks and attracts young professionals. Because of Ahwatukee’s convenient location near three of Phoenix’s major highways, it has become a highly sought-after bedroom community. Ahwatukee offers its residents and visitors a leisurely lifestyle. You’ll find three golf courses, as well as the annual Ahwatukee Chili Cookoff, which takes place over three days and is officially sanctioned by the International Chili Society. South Mountain Park – the largest municipal park in the United States – stretches out along the community’s northern border. As a result, the views and opportunities for trail activities, from hiking to biking to horseback riding, can’t be beat.

Smoking
Smoking of my kind is not allowed in the home. There is a $500 fine for smoking inside or outside the home.

Thermostat
Heating & cooling costs can get very expensive in the winter and summer months. Please keep the temp at 72F or turn off if you plan to be gone for extended periods.

Trash
Trash cans are located on the side of the house and pickup is on Thursday mornings. Please take the trash cans out to the driveway on Wednesday evening so they can be picked up. Return the cans back to their location once empty.

Grill
There is a propane grill on the property. After each use, please clean all the grill tools/ utensils and turn off the propane cylinder for safety.

Laundry
Make use of the provided laundry detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry room if you need to do laundry during your stay.

TV
There is a smart TV in every room (except the two queen bedrooms). Guests are welcome to use their existing streaming TV subscriptions to access their favorite apps (Netflix, Hulu Prime Video, ESPN+, Disney+, YouTube, and HBOMax).

Pool
Pool cleaning is on Friday mornings between 6am and 8am. The pool cleaner has access to the backyard and will access the pool without disturbing guests as they sleep. Pool heating is OPTIONAL and only available for a 3-night stay minimum for $50/day. Please provide at least a 24 hr notice to allow enough time to get the pool heated.

Safety
Guests will have direct access to an un-gated/unlocked in-ground or above-ground swimming pool. Please keep an eye out on your kids if they are outside in or near the pool. The pool does not include a 4-sided isolation fence so added supervision by guests is necessary.

Damages
Please notify me of any damages during your stay so I can coordinate replacements or repairs. I understand accidents sometimes happen but my top priority is maintaining a quality experience for you.

Fantastic 8-night stay! The property was exactly as described and had helpful additions like spices, kitchen roll, laundry soap etc. The AC was great, the house felt secure, it was very clean, and real effort had been made to cater to a comfortable experience. When we arrived at the property, there was a slight issue with the door lock. The owner sent a text within 5 minutes to correct this. The owner was very communicative and the 5 days were amazing. Great home in a wonderful location.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The pictures don't do it justice - it is bigger than it looks. Very clean and tidy with a perfect backyard. The kitchen has sufficient utensils for basic cooking - I like to cook and would have welcomed a few more pots and pans, oven cookware and cooking utensils as well as a kettle, to make full use of the great kitchen space. Bathrooms were all very clean and the house is very modern throughout. If you are sensitive to light when you sleep, it's worth noting that all windows have paper blinds, so nothing really to stop daylight coming in to main bedroom from daybreak. Didn't bother us and the other two bedrooms, whilst also equipped with paper blinds, are located in parts of the house with less direct sunlight in the morning.The local area is really quiet and very close to stores, amazing local restaurants, bakeries, coffee places as well as the interstate. There's lots of local footpaths and parks offering plenty of opportunities to exercise if you want (and temperatures allow)! We had great communication with our host and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Wonderful Getaway!

We spent 9 days at this property in December/January and everything about our stay was great. Prior to getting there the communication with the host was great, instructions were clear and we had no problems finding the house and getting in. Once we entered the house was just as described in the listing and was very clean and inviting. We had the pool heated for our stay and it was warm and ready to go when we arrived. The house is very well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy home cooked meals, lounge by the pool and just relax and enjoy. We loved the location as it is close to so many things and was easy to get to where ever we were off to during the day. It is also very private and on a quiet street which we appreciated. The host was fantastic, very responsive and great to deal with. We are already planning our next visit to stat here again.

Amazing Property

Five Stars does not do this property justice. Not only is it beautiful, especially the pool area but the location is ideal. With the easy access to the highway it is convenient to everywhere in the Phoenix area and still located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Our host was extremely responsive and cooperative anytime we had a question. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in Phoenix area. Sharon

Christmas 2023

Our family recently celebrated Christmas in Arizona and needed extra lodging as our daughter who lives nearby did not have enough space. This property was perfect for gathering, cooking and enjoying outdoor space for the holiday. Our grandchildren enjoyed opening Christmas presents and having Christmas breakfast poolside! Host was quick to respond to questions, neighborhood was quiet and a nice place to take some long walks and close to grocery stores, etc. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

What a gem

This place was great! Great location, very quiet neighborhood with a walking path right in the side. It was perfect for our group, 4 adults two kid. 3 rooms all with big comfortable beds. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Lots of tv’s and options for hang out spots. I am also a renter so I’m a little more particular than most and we enjoyed our time here. Would definitely recommend and definitely come back.
