Ended up having problems getting here. Finally got here at 11pm and then was lectured several times during the check in process about how late it was and “not sure if we are still open, it’s so late.” Then was told next time I needed to call because check in was 8-830 max”. Well I guess there won’t be a next time. Sorry to bother you to do your job.

Expensive Stay for Cheap Service
The bed was way too high, i don't see how anyone can get up on a bed that high, but i made it work. Also, we stayed over Christmas night and they did not treat any of the iced over areas on the sidewalk or parking lot..very dangerous. We also heard from another customer that they didn't have any extra toilet paper in the room & what they did have was just a little bit left on the roll, so they had to go ask for more and they had just checked in!! They are also always higher in cost than the other 2 hotels in town.

We were pleasantly surprised. As an older looking Drive-up motel we were hesitant but our room was beautiful. Remodeled, clean, and a comfy bed. Overslept and missed breakfast. We’d stay there again.

The hotel was old and the second level room above me was extremely noisy. People above me walked and moved until 1:00 AM in the morning. Their floor was so noisy I could hear every step and it kept me awake. They then woke up at 5:00 AM and walked all over the room so noisy it woke me up so I only got a 4 hour sleep. A bad facility.

For an older property it appeared to be well kept up. My room was clean and comfortable. It is located on the State Highway and within a short distance to the eateries and gas/convenience stores in Phillipsburg.

Even nicer than expected
Very pleased with EconoLodge in Phillipsburg, where we stayed before heading to the Nicodemus National Historical Park. The rooms are very modern for a small town off the beaten path. Very friendly check in and nothing but excellent service throughout our visit. Would gladly stay here again during a future visit.
