Guests have access to all areas of the property including the hiking path around the property. We do ask the you please be bear aware and treat the forest with respect while hiking.

During your stay, the entire property is exclusively yours to enjoy, providing utmost privacy and serenity. Please be aware that this cabin is only 600 square feet and can only accommodate small groups of 5 or less.

Property Features: Granite Moose Hideaway has several unique features guests should be aware of when considering the property. The loft is accessed by a narrow, steep staircase, and a rock garden with uneven natural surfaces is located directly off the patio. Your own vehicle is necessary for getting to the property and for exploring Philipsburg. There are no taxis or driving services available in the area. It is highly recommended that you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter months, Montana weather is unpredictable and the roads can become icy or covered in snow. The road to the cabin is regularly plowed.

Winter Access: During the winter, our roads are regularly plowed; however, 4WD/AWD is highly recommended in snowy or icy conditions.

Loft Access: The loft sleeping area is accessed by a narrow, steep staircase. There is no alternative step-free access to the loft. Please review the listing photos for additional details about the stairs and loft layout.

Patio & Outdoor Area: A rock garden is located directly off the patio and includes uneven natural surfaces and rocks. Please review the listing photos and property features when determining whether the property meets your needs.

Security Camera: For security and property monitoring, an exterior Ring doorbell camera is located at the entry. There are no cameras inside the home.
