My first stay (10 months ago) was phenomenal (customer service & cleanliness), which is why I rebooked this hotel. This time, the check-in staff was very cold and robotic; not looking at me during the process and was not friendly (it seemed like a stressful time, since there was a wedding). When we got to our room, there was a small spot of black mold in the shower and the air quality was extremely poor in the room; it seems the filter needs to be changed and everything kept getting layers of dust on it, just by sitting in the room for a few minutes, let alone how we felt after sleeping and showering here. Getting another room seemed highly unlikely. Ordered room service, since downstairs was packed. Food quality and quantity, for the price plus 'service charge' was astronomical (total bill ~$200 for 2 people). Sunday morning at 10:30am, jackhammers started. Not the same experience overall and debating if we'd rebook. Still waiting for an itemized receipt of our stay...
Would recommend getting food outside of the hotel (better pricing, quality, and quantity)
