Leider war das Rezeptionspersonal immer etwas genervt und unwillig. Man fühlte sich wie ein kleiner Bittsteller, dem man arrogant und genervt begegnen muss. Das Hotel insgesamt war sauber und in einem guten Zustand, die Zimmer gut ausgestattet. Ebenfalls ein gutes Frühstück mit frischen Waffeln, vor allem die tolle Lage direkt gegenüber der Townhall stach besonders positiv hervor. Man konnte also alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen!

Tolle Lage - schlechter Service
Superzentrale Lage direkt beim Rathaus. "Anspruch des Hauses": gehoben - Service dafür schlecht: Frühstück auf Papp-"Geschirr", liebloses Buffett, wenig Auswahl, klebrige Tische... Studio für drei Erwachsene gebucht (Queen bed + Schlafsofa): Schlafsofa musste selbst ausgeklappt und bezogen werden. Shampoo etc für EINE Person ausreichend. Nur ein niedriger Hocker als bequeme Sitzmöglichkeit bei 3-er-Belegung. Küche war für uns überflüssig. Das Bad ist sehr eng. Die Parkgebühr von 55 USD pro Nacht ist Wucher. Es gibt fußläufig deutlich günstigere Parkmöglichkeiten. Der Ausblick aus unserem Eckzimmer im 14. Stock war grandios: direkt auf das Rathaus! Philadelphia kann man wunderbar zu Fuß erkunden. Restaurant-Tipp: "Lolita" (mexikanisch - sehr lecker und preis-wert; aufmerksamer Service. Sehr gut besucht.) In diesem Viertel gibt es tolle Essensmöglichkeiten. Reading Terminal Market: grandios (für Mittagessen zu empfehlen!).

I am a person with disability, and even though I booked at the last minute, they were able to provide me with a disabled friendly room which was very convenient. The front desk were very friendly, supportive and always checked on my comfort. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a stress-free experience.

I stayed at the Residence Inn for 3 nights while attending a conference at the Philadelphia Convention Center. The hotel's location is a very easy 3-5 minute walk away from the convention center, as well as transit stops and the Reading Terminal Market. The staff at the front desk and the breakfast buffet were always helpful and kind. The room itself was comfortable, but is showing some age.

Staff was accommodating and kind. The closest train station was a few minutes away, which was very helpful as we spent a lot of time at the WWE events for WrestleMania week as well as at Wells Fargo for a Sixers game. Highly recommended.

The location was great, and it was easily within walking distance of all of the most popular sites. The view was pretty good. We had a view of City Hall from our room. The negatives: The room was small, but also expected in older buildings. The shower was terrible; it looked as if someone had taken a normal shower and cut it in half-long ways. The floor had a dip, and the water would not completely drain from the shower. The "showerhead" was just a detachable mess, and its holder was on a pole where it could be adjusted but only just fell to the bottom. My wife found hairs in the shower wrapped around the cord of the detached "shower head" and embedded in the towels. The lobby was super basic and plain and seemed like the entrance to the local jail. The valet area was actually pretty large for the location, and it made it easy to load and unload our things; I had to get parking at a local garage because the hotel was charging one arm and maybe two legs per night for valet. (to be fair, they are all now for some weird reason). Regarding the price, I think this hotel is an okay deal and has a great location. This is not a high-end hotel, but that should be expected when comparing prices to others.

Overall it was a good experience but one main draw back is the shower design. There is a one panel glass door that swivels and is so inconvenient that water seeps through and your floor after a shower is always wet.

Lovely spot for a stay, and good location and in proximity of many food spots. Staff were great, and were so kind to upgrade my room as I was staying multiple nights, and the suite was clean and with a nice view. Appreciated the breakfast service as well.

Do not use valet.
Valet let our doors open and someone stole our belongings. The staff were horrible unsympathetic. They were extremely rude. I would never Ever stay here again. We think it was an inside job. They stole my husband’s credit card and used at a local market.
