The hotel has open land on each side, making for a private, uncrowded beach atmosphere. Pensacola has one of the prettiest beaches I've been to. The hotel room was very clean, and I felt safe. The desk staff and cleaning staff were very pleasant. Didn't like the fact that there were no apparent places to wash off when coming from the beach, therefore dragging unnecessary sand into the room. We were not a fan of the Tiki Bar. There was no menu or pricing posted for drinks, and the person running the bar was too busy talking to get their attention. The pool itself had a lot of bugs, etc as if the filter wasn't working properly. We did have occasion to visit the Salty Rose beach bar next door and were pleased as always. Kristen was super nice and the live entertainment had a great sound. Tried a local Pensacola lager which was fantastic!
