North Lakes Hotel And Spa
This hotel was ideal for my 2 night stay in Penrith. The room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and robes/slippers available for the pool and/or spa. Westmorland Hotel Tebay
There was scaffolding outside our bedroom window which nobody at reception told us about. It ruined our view and ruined our stay mainly because of incompetent staff in the restaurant or kitchen

Shap Wells Hotel
Wonderful stay hotel full of character with lots of little hidden areas to just sit and chill. Very remote but if looking for a relaxing time ideal place. Also had red squirrel sanctuary on site.

Character Cottage with fabulous mountain views in the North Lakes District
Lovely cottage, idea base for walking in the Lakes. We stayed in February, with snow on the ground. The view of Blencathra is stunning and the heating in the cottage made us feel very cosy.

Orton Hall, Royalist Suite
Beautiful property, very well equipped. Very helpful and friendly host. Added bonus to be able to use the spa at hotel in Penrith. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful get away.

Luxury, romantic boathouse on the shores of Lake Ullswater, perfect for special occasions.
We have been coming to the lakes for many years, and thie Duke of portland is by far our favourite place to stay....and it's just not down to it's location alown, it's the attention to detail, it's the Decor inside...its absolutely stunning....the owners should be extremely proud of what they have ...
