„Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, showing us where to park. The cooler breakfast was really nice. The room was absolutely boiling and even with the windows open all evening it was a poor nights sleep. No aircon and only a little fan. Very firm mattress but it realise this is preference. My husband loved it but I didn’t sleep at all. Close to amenities and nice and quiet. Overall would stay again.“

„Loved our stay at the Troutbeck inn! Staff seemed hardworking and very busy but remained friendly and approachable at all times. Our stay was very quiet and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was great and, though I'm never normally a full English person at breakfast, I had one of theirs as my partner's breakfast looked cracking on the first morning (and mine didn't disappoint!) It's in a good location for Keswick or if you're bagging Wainwrights nearby. We also booked a table for food one ...

„A nice stay. Staff were really helpful; particularly accommodating food allergies. Pets were welcome in the pub itself as well as the room that had been booked. Nice little added extras like dog treats in the room and dog beds provided. Breakfast was nice too - hot options + selection of cereals and toast.“

„Staying at this hotel was a last minute thing due to a mix up at our original booking and I have to say it was a godsend! We arrived 45 minutes after booking and were welcomed by friendly staff and a very clean room. The location was great and we went on a bike ride around the very quaint village and down by the river. I would definitely stay here again as it’s a great village hotel with great staff.“
