Greystoke Gill is a small hamlet located in the picturesque Eden Valley just 1 mile from Greystoke with village shop, pub and outdoor swimming pool. The quiet country roads lend themselves to exploring by bike. The bustling market town of Penrith is 5 miles east and has shops, pubs, restaurants, take aways and supermarkets, known as the gateway to the lakes, Ullswater, Keswick and Ambleside are easily reached. There are numerous activities and attractions within the Lake District from watersports, fell walking, mountain climbing, horse riding, lake cruises and attractions such as stately homes, museums and zoos, there really is something or everyone, no matter what age.

Stable Cottage has been lovingly converted from the former stables and retains its traditional character. Exposed stone walls and beams are home to contemporary furnishings providing a modern, well equipped home away from home. The cottage benefits from an enclosed garden, perfect for lazy summer days and the wood burning stove keeps you warm and cosy on chillier days.

The cottage has oil central heating and comprises: Lounge has beams and exposed stone walls with sofas arranged around the wood burning stove and Smart TV. Sunroom perfect for escaping with a good book. Dining kitchen with a double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and dining table. Utility/cloakroom with a Belfast pot sink, washing machine and tumble dryer and WC.

Three characterful bedrooms; master with a king size bed and exposed stone walls. Double bedroom with exposed stone walls and bunk bedroom ideal for children. Family bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.

Oil central heating, electric, initial supply of logs, bed linen and towels included. Private parking for up to 3 cars and a bike store available on request. Cot and highchair available on request. Well behaved pets welcome, but extra charge for more than 1 dog. Private enclosed garden to the rear of the cottage with table and chairs, BBQ and views over the fields beyond.
