Gutes Bed and Breakfast...mit kleinen Abstrichen
Eigentlich gibt es nichts zu meckern. Schönes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, Sauberkeit o.k. Verbesserungswürdig erscheint die Freundlichkeit der Besitzerin. Wir hatten eher den Eindruck, den Tagesablauf zu stören. Fragen (es waren nicht viele) wurden möglichst kurz beantwortet. Auf die Frage (unterwegs ohne Auto mit Rucksack) wo wir unsere Getränkevorräte auffrischen könnten, erhielten wir den Tip: "das Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn ist ganz gut"...Naja! Vielleicht lag es aber daran, dass wir noch etwas vor der Saison da waren. Jeder hat vielleicht aber mal einen schlechten Tag. Ansonsten auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert! Preis-Leistung gut.

Nice place, friendly and welcoming service
Enjoed my stay here very much. Nice and clean , only few bedrooms but tastful furnished. Very friendly staff. Go for the Freshwater Inn to dine. Good food , good ale, friendly staff too.

Booked a one night stay here over Easter . My friend and I spent the day walking the beautiful scenic Pembrokeshire coast and arrived at Portclew House . We drove up to this beautiful planted garden in front of this gorgeous house - plenty of parking , very peaceful and serene . Sheryl greeted us and she couldn’t have been more welcoming, gentle and friendly . We had two separate rooms that we both stunning - huge, clean and warm. Beautifully decorated and large Georgian windows over looking the garden . I had booked a meal at a local pub and Sheryl gave us clear directions for walking there . The next morning we went down for breakfast , so much choice and really good quality , perfectly cooked food ….. amazing . If you have any dietary requirements - you will be more than catered for. We absolutely loved our very short stay - the ‘recharge’ we desperately needed. Can’t thank Sheryl and her partner enough for their outstanding hospitality . They really have created a wonderful , blissful sanctuary. 10/10

Siamo stati ospitati in una ampia stanza dell’ultimo piano. L’insieme è molto carino e particolare. Una antica residenza di campagna che ti accoglie con il suo charme. La colazione è stata deliziosa così come la gentilissima signora che ci ha accolti a colazione.

I’ve stayed at Portclew house twice, it’s been my go to hotel, I’m all booked again in November and I’m sure I will be there in many more times to come. Very clean and tidy, there’s a small amount of rooms there so it’s not over busy with people walking/running around. Room is serviced everyday if asked ( option not to ) the views are nice and the surrounding area is well maintained and looks nice. Highly recommend

Excellent stay
Very comfortable 3 night stay. Fabulous breakfast, really well looked after by Cheryl. Rooms very comfortable and value for money. Excellent accommodation and location. We stayed in main house with b and b, but there are self catering cottages on site as well. Attractive property and gardens with lots of parking. Would stay again.

Very friendly and welcoming team of staff. The room and breakfast was excellent. The location is really central for Pembrokeshire and their are beaches with 5min drive of the hotel. We had a great stay and would recommend.

The host were very welcoming and engaging sharing their knowledge of the area. We stayed in the main house where the room allocated was spacious, comfortable and fit for a king. The breakfast menu was varied and catered for all diets and was plentiful. A terrific stay - thank you
