The house sits on three private acres bordering 400 acres of Cranberry Mountain State Land, with hiking, hunting, and cross-country skiing right from the property line. Thunder Ridge is five minutes down the road. Manhattan is about an hour north on I-684.

INSIDE THE HOUSE

Three bedrooms (two queens, two twins), three and a half baths, and a house that has been standing since before the country. Original wide-plank floors, Farrow and Ball painted walls, restored vintage furniture, and multiple fireplaces throughout. The kitchen has a Breville espresso machine, full appliances, and everything you need to cook. Fast wifi, a dedicated workspace, and streaming on every TV.

Every bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a clawfoot tub with a rainfall shower, a covered front porch, and a historic barn on the property.

THE WINTER SEASON

Ski all morning at Thunder Ridge (five minutes away), come back to a fire already laid and espresso waiting. Night skiing on weekdays means the kids can ski after school. On weekends, the Metro North Harlem Line runs a ski shuttle from Patterson station directly to the mountain.

The surrounding state land is open for hunting in season, and the trails are perfect for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing when the snow falls.
