Im Zimmer selbst gab' es eine Verbindungstür zum Nachbarzimmer. Diese wurde weder bei Ankunft noch in der Beschreibung des Hotels erwähnt. Viel schlimmer noch war das Badezimmer. Es war komplett verdreckt und die Dusche war stark mit Schimmel befallen.

Dear Guest, Even if there was a door, it was obviously closed and no one could enter in your apartments. We have these kind of rooms because, if a bigger family wants two connecting rooms, we can provide them. For what concerns the bathroom, for every problem you could have called the reception and we would have been pleased to help you. Best regards

Ruhiges im Zentrum der Altstadt
Großes Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit Doppelbett und Zustellbett. Großes Bad und kitchenette. Kaffeeautomat: 45 Cent für ein hervorragenden Cappuccino. Parken vor dem Haus möglich, zwei Stunden 5 €, 10 € pro Tag. Die Altstadt lässt sich von hier aus zu Fuß sehr gut erkunden.

sehr zentral gelegen, Parken ist ein Problem
unbedingt Einfahrverbot in verkehrsberuhigte Zone beachten. Optimale Lage mitten in Parma, keine zwei Minuten vom Dom an einem kleinen Park. Ausstattung reicht fuer einen Kurzurlaub

im Astoria Einchecken ist voll stressig
in Dachwohnung 2*2 Zimmer schlägt Mann den Kopf an Giebeldecke. Kein richtiges Fenster noch Balkon. Kein Frühstück und voll nervige Eincheckung an voll schlechtem erklärten Standort 2Km weg im Astoriahotel. Einzig sehr nette Hotelangestellte.

You can ask for shuttle to drop you off at the Residence after you check in at Novotel by the train station. Not when you check out. But, the walk with luggage was about 15 min, it was not bad. The facility is old. No question about that. It was well maintained. We did not have any problem. There are some stairs you must climb before you can reach an elevator. And the elevator is small, 4 people is probably the maximum it would fit. There is a facility person and two vending machines on site, not much else. However, you probably can get everything you need within 10 to15 min walk. For other help, such as calling a taxi, you can dial 9 on the phone in the room, (yes they still have landline) to ask the operator at Novotel to call it for you. It is a nice quiet place for a short stay.

The “Parent” hotel, Novotel was beautiful, modern and nice. The residence experience of staying in apartment, wasn’t great, but it was ok. The art on the wall was a bit distasteful, and a bit inappropriate?? The decor/furnishings are older and antique but clean a comfortable. There was no coffee, and I suppose that was because it was an apartment not a hotel room. But the staff were amazing, and Parma was great to explore and the location made it easy to enjoy all the Parma has to offer.

Read the description well before booking. Because we knew what to expect (mostly). Good, quiet location crossed from a small park. We really liked the kitchenette and small table and chairs. Good size room for Italy. The only problems we had were that the room phones didn’t work and the morning reception desk at Novotel didn’t respond to our WhatsApp messages. It was pouring rain the morning we had to checkout. Because we had to check out at the other hotel and didn’t know how to schedule a taxi we were soaked from walking to checkout.

Una pessima esperienza!
Le foto dell'appartmento non corrispondevano a quelle viste sulla preview. Edificio vecchio, con poca o totale assenza di insonorizzazione - rumori dal portone e gente nei corridoi udibile chiaramente anche se queste parlavano a voce normale. Non siamo riusciti a chiudere occhio. Pulizia della casa accettabile, ma ragni al soffitto e doccino che appena aperta acqua calda ha fatto fuoriuscire residui di ruggine e acqua marroncina. Per il prezzo offerto, assolutamente sconsigliato! Non ci torneremo mai piú.

The Liberty residence is in the very center of Parma but the check in process is a nightmare. The residence's area is restricted to the traffic but you have to pick up the key at Novotel, outside the restricted area, go to your residence, and , before leaving ..bring back to Novotel the key. What about tourist's car pass to restricted central areas ? None. What about tourist without car ? Should they walk kilometres with their luggage to pick up and give back the key ? Novotel awfully is saving money on customers service but they do not advice you about this check in procedure before buyng their rooms

Check in is 1.5 km away at a different hotel
We were so disappointed that we didn't stay at the hotel. We were only supposed to stay one night because we were on a road trip heading home. We booked it because it was located in the center of town. But when we arrived after a long day driving we found the building locked with a small sign on it saying that we had to go to the Novotel Parma to check in, which was over a mile away and an extra ten minutes in the car due to the way the one way streets work. We called that hotel and they told us that you had to check in and park your car there and then they would bring you in a shuttle to the Residence Liberty. No where on the hotels.com website or app did it say we would be faced with such an inconvenience. Of I had known that I would have never chosen that hotel for just one night. We ended up asking the Novotel to give is rooms there instead to make it easier on us. Bit I had to pay a lot of extra money to do so.

Helt fint
Helt udemærket stay i Parma. Lå super fint og trygt - med kort afstand til centrum. Lejligheden havde fin udsigt til en borg. Selve lejligheden var ikke super charmerende indrettet, men der var rart at være - og mest af alt billigt - hvilket man ikke som sådan mærkede!

Good stay. We were not aware that the check in was elsewhere and that was inconvenient. Also, our room had a really strong smell of food when we arrived but to make a change we had to walk back to where the check in was done, so we stayed there. Location is good.

La scala k porta al letto matrimoniale della camera 22 vuole sistemata xk abb rischiato di cadere... Finestre senza zanzariera e le zanzare sono entrate a flotte... Pulizia eccellente... Colazione da fare fuori dallo stabile x niente pratico... Checking e checkout da fare in altra sede non pratico e il parcheggio a pagamento è stata la ciliegina sulla torta...

Gentile Bruno, Ci dispiace leggere un commento negativo, soprattutto quando riferito a servizi extra come la colazione (il Liberty non è un b&b, è un appartamento e come tale non la prevede) e il parcheggio (servizio extra in quanto non tutti gli ospiti che vi soggiornano desiderano pagare un parcheggio che non utilizzerebbero). Anche il diverso indirizzo di check-in e check-out (che comunque è a meno di 10 minuti a piedi) è chiaramente segnalato in fase di prenotazione. Infine, le zanzare sono purtroppo ovunque e non riteniamo il nostro residence responsabile... Cordialmente

Affordable, but...
I would characterize this as more of an air b & b experience rather than a hotel. We had to walk two blocks to another hotel to check in and out, there was no daily cleaning of any type (no beds made, no towels exchanged) and if we wanted to use the little kitchen area there was a note that we’d be charged 20 euros for it to be cleaned. All that being said, we probably would have still chosen to stay here as it was very affordable and a decent location. I just wish this info was disclosed beforehand as we would have come better prepared (like bring more toilet paper!).

But, even if it has a reception, the normal everyday cleaning services are not guaranteed since the apartments are cleaned one a week. The bed was really bad, you could feel the springs. Also although, in small letters communicated , you need to pay 20 euro just for using a really small kitchen. The pressure of the shower is oke, but not the direction of the water, it goes everywere.
