„Great place to experience a traditional Japanese ryokan. Food was excellent, and it was very close to the lake and shopping area. But the room was too cold to stay in icy Winer. If I go again, it will be either in Spring or Fall. “

In the kitchen we would have liked a few more sharp knifes.
Yufuin itself lies in very nice natural surroundings.
However the vast majority of tourists in Yufuin are Chinese and Koreans, which reflects in very high prices in restaurants and street locales.
Also the accommodation was a little bit overpriced in my opinion.
Overall still a very nice stay.“

Upon arriving I was pleasantly surprised by the bed & breakfast style of the hotel and the nostalgic memorabilia displayed throughout the hotel as well.
