„Bharat and Anne are very welcoming. They keep Torlands in tip-top condition. It is immaculately clean, and they will tidy your room for you during your stay if you wish. The breakfast is lovely, and there are lots of little things that make you feel welcome or are thoughtful, such as snacks on the tea tray and a torch by the bed. The only downside for me was that the mattress was a little too soft for my back, but others may prefer this, so I would recommend the place.“

Although quite a treck around narrow winding lanes to get there...it was definitely worth it. Lovely family-run bed and breakfast...I would highly recommend it. „The only negative point for me was not having the option to pay all in advance. Due to the card I've used to book ( it was a swiss site then I've used a swiss card ) and taking into account that in the meantime they've taken an advance payment and then back again they've paid themselves the rest with the same card, I've ended paying more than the advertised price. A real shame because the BB is good. “

„Super accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up.“

„Maria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms.
