The properly was beautiful happy with my stay until I saw little roaches towards my first few days staying there .. so I went out and got some bleach and made the best of it

Check in was great we were on first floor which was wonderful then the room had a bad leak on day 3 we had to be moved to floor 16 which we were very thankful that they had a room for us it was an upgraded room but a big hassle we had to move all of our belongings to the new room we were on the beach they had to turn electric off in room and didn’t notify us the elevator service was horrible one time we had to wait 20 minutes for an elevator that we could get on way to crowded for the amount of elevators I felt like there was never any one at the front desk we needed more toilet paper one morning and had to go to store and buy it the rooms are very nice and the pools were great just not the service that we were used to when we stay with a wyndym

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Tidewater. We apologize for the difficulty you experienced with the elevators. We did have several unfortunate events which compounded these delays. A main water-line on the property was damaged creating serious flooding which impeded the cooling towers in the building. We can assure you these occurrences are seldom and apologize it caused inconveniences during your stay.

Worth staying
Our room was on 20th floor withbeautiful sea view. The room was clean and had everything what we wanted. The hotel was good, friendly staffs and check in was easy.. the elevators weren’t bad as others stated. If I come back again I would stay at TideWaters hotel.

We had a two-year old and were assigned to the 24th floor. There were only 2 elevators for 30 floors and 720 rooms. There was no attention given to handicapped parking. No information was provided for what was available outside the hotel. The hotel DID NOT HONOR our confirmed reservation. Instead of 5 beds, as promised, we had 3 beds and a decrepit "sofa bed." Hotel management lied to us and told us basically "to suck it up".Can't believe this was a Wyndham resort.

Gorgeous sea facing view. Property is in need of a little updating, but I would stay there again. We didn't stay in the room much. The location is excellent! Wonderful vacation. Didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back.

The check-in process was delayed 45 minutes because of housekeeping. Then was sent to the wrong room, which was already occupied. Then the room was filthy, had bugs, a broken dryer and broken stove burner. Terrible stay.

I enjoyed the fact that there was an indoor pool, a movie theater, gym, sauna, and two outdoor pools available. There was always something to do regardless of the weather or time of day. The security was fantastic and made us feel very safe during our trip.

Nice place to stay.
This was our first experience with Tidewater. Check-in was quick and easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our condo was clean and well equipped. The location is great as well. The only negative for us was the long walk from the parking deck to our room(Husband has a problem walking). Overall a good stay for us.

Our unit was clean. It was a huge plus having laundry facilities in our room. We had no issues with the elevators. The wait time was not too bad. The beach was beautiful. It would've been nice if the resort would have raked/cleaned their beach area. We ran out of toilet paper and was told by staff that we had to go buy some ourselves. Having Starbucks on site was a huge plus. I would stay here again.

Elevators are TERRIBLE. Leave early to allow time for the elevators. The dryer in our unit had to be turned on 3 times on max heat to dry our clothes. Room was clean and had a good view. Beach was great. The chair rental place opens (I guess) when they feel like it. You stand in line to get your chairs, they dont come to you. They open at 8 but it was usually a little after that. Cash only. Wasnt crazy about the bar n grill at the hotel. High prices and food was just ok. Mixed drink at the pool side bar was $9.50. And that was the small. Check out is by 10 and rooms are supposed to be ready by 4. Guess what, it wasnt. The hotel wasnt close to full as you could tell that from parking. But maybe they were short handed. It happens. For the most part, in spite of the little things i mentioned, it was a good trip. Beach was clean and room was clean. (Except for the sofa mattress) yikes!

My experience all together was great. Had a little hiccup with checking in because the hotel and Expedia did not communicate a hotel name add-on after calling three different people my sister was finally able to check in. After the check in everything else was fantastic. Had a great vacation.

Nice condo! Horrible elevator waits!
Our room was clean, the property was nice. Check in was awesome. The elevator situation was horrible. We had nearly 20 minute waits at times! The chairs on the beach sit too close. Check out was a little confusing. Overall though it was a nice place to stay.

Loved being on the beach. Room was ok. Thought the bed was a queen but it was more like a double. A few stains on the sheets. Husband saw a cockroach in the kitchen the day we left. Tried calling front desk so they could be aware, but went to a recording for real estate options.

Arrived later than expected. Thank goodness for the on-site security guard! She was able to instruct me as to how to check-in as the registration desk was closed. The following morning at check-in there was a lot to the check-in it took a long time. The resorts app couldn’t be found by my iPhone or iPad App Store nor my mother’s Samsung phone so I feel we didn’t get enough information despite being told the app was really only for early checkout by the receptionist. But that wasn’t true as I got two texts for early checkout. Only had half a roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms on arrival but the website said free toiletries. We assumed there would be extra TP in the condo like there were other extras but that wasn’t the case. Then the guy that runs the beach chair “rentals” was rude! I was given a card by the receptionist for our chair rentals and was t told to stop at his hut.so he approached me and my mom and rolled his eyes when I showed him the card. The next day we stopped at his hut and he wanted to charge us $30/day or $20/few hours and only accepted cash. We chose to lay on our towels. Otherwise, we absolutely loved the condo, beach front balcony and pool area!

Beautiful view of the ocean
Walking distance to the pier and lots of restaurants. Lovely view of the oceans. The heated indoor pool was nice for my 7 yr old since we went in December so swimming outside wasn’t really an option.
