The positives: the place is right on the beach, which is why we booked. The view is beautiful and the location is convenient. The home is quiet even with the other units on both sides being occupied. There is a hose to rinse off the beach sand on the patio. Negatives: not sure what has changed since the previous reviews, but the property was not very clean when we arrived. I booked based on previous reviews stating how clean the home is, however that was not my experience. The showers were dirty, hair from previous guests left behind, what looked like snot on the wall tile in the master shower, 1/3 of the shower heads were not working due to build up. There is build up around the base of the showers, especially around the shower glass in all the bathrooms. The kitchen chairs all have stains. The baseboards need to be cleaned. The back patio has weeds growing up under the table and around the edges. The stairs have been painted black but are peeling with the white paint coming through. The living room furniture does not accommodate more than four people. The back door is really difficult to open, especially from the outside. The handle is loose after you’re finally able to pry your fingers on it. The beds were really hard and not comfortable to sleep in. Overall, the space felt like it could have been better maintained and the home/ furnishings feel outdated. Unfortunately, I would not book this home again.
