Disappointed
The unit was beautiful but the cleanliness was not. The floor was dirty, we found blood on one pillowcase, and there was something on the floor between the nightstand and the wall. Not sure if someone spilled something or maybe someone was sick. There were no trash bags other than the ones in the the trash cans on arrival and there was no dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher present. Upon further investigation, there were no beach towels either. I text with Vacasa (property manager) about everything and they responded with:
“We apologize for the inconvenience caused and want you to know that we take this matter very seriously. Please know that this is not our standard, and we always strive to provide our guests with the best experience possible. We're sorry that we fell short of your expectations this time.” They brought us one pillow case and two dishwashing packs. No one cleaned the “mess” by the nightstand as I specifically asked them to do. Beach towels were never provided either. We were very disappointed in the condition of the of the unit. We have stayed in several units in the building and this is the only time we have had Vacasa as the property manager. If we stay again and they are the property manager, we will cancel and find another. Again, the unit was decorated wonderfully. I would recommend the mattresses be replaced. They were very uncomfortable. There was NO hot water in the kitchen either. Hard to wash dishes without hot water.
