The good was that all staff and guests at Summerhouse were very friendly and helpful! The location was good for us, the view was amazing and the outside grounds were well kept. The not so goodâŚthis building is old. Hot tub not always working, elevators frequently down, sliding doors in the lobby not working. For the condo, the photos online mustâve been taken long ago as the white cabinets were now yellow. The HVAC was down the first 4 days and it smelled like stale dust and mildew that never went away, even with air blowing and fans running. The ductwork needs to be cleaned thoroughly. We requested to be moved shortly after we arrived. Real Joy told us âunless the place is inhabitableâŚâ they would not move us, we had booked for 2 months. They attempted to resolve with several visits to figure out the smell, fix hvac, clean the area rug (ick) but no other remedy, move or refund. Remember the saying, you get what you pay for. Before you book, look for pics of the elevators, hallways, your condo front door. Also, there is No access to the balcony from the master as described and the sliding balcony door and drapery need to be replaced.
