Within 30 minutes, you can be at 10 wineries, historic Monticello, downtown Charlottesville, UVA, or Carter’s Mountain Orchard. No matter what type of getaway you’re looking for, it is accessible from the Creekside Cottage! With 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 3 living areas, 2 dining areas, a full kitchen, and laundry, this is a home away from home where you can live comfortably. *Must be 21+ to book! This property of pretty rural. We live on 15 acres and love the escape the home provides for those who live in the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a creek at the back of the property that guests are welcome to explore; however, it is imperative that no children visit the creek without adult supervision. It is an expansive home, with three bedrooms on the main floor of the house. There are all the amenities of being at your own home, complete with a well-stocked kitchen and comfy beds! PLEASE NOTE: The owners live in the basement. While they keep to themselves, you may occasionally encounter them in the driveway or while they are collecting eggs from the chicken coop Guests may access the top two floors of the home. The owners live in the basement, so we ask that guests do not enter that area. There is a creek on the back of the property with a walking path down. Guests are welcome to explore; however, it is imperative that no children go down without adult supervision. There is a chicken coop on property. If you’d like to collect eggs, please get permission first by messaging the Host through the Airbnb app. Finally, there are dogs on property. They stay inside or in the outdoor kennel when guests are on property. We request that you do not let them out. We will be on property (in the basement level) during most stays. This property is in a rural area with a shared driveway. There is free parking on property. You will need your own transportation to explore nearby attractions. PLEASE NOTE: The owners live in the basement and will likely be present for your stay.
