Located at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, this home's bright white stucco facade peeks above a dramatic landscape of tumbled boulders and desert plants. As you approach the property you'll wonder if you haven't arrived in Greece, or elsewhere along the Mediterranean. That wow moment that we all hope for greets you immediately as you step through the front door and gaze over the large gathering room below, with the sparkling poolside playground just beyond. The floor plan of your vacation oasis is terraced on two levels; the upper entry-level includes the expansive master suite, one guest room, a hallway bath, and a laundry room. Five steps below is the main floor of the home where you'll find three more guest bedrooms, two bathrooms, the full kitchen, and the expansive gathering room. Your friends and family will enjoy gathering on the large L-shaped sectional to watch a movie or talk about the happenings' of the day. Step outside to the luscious backyard and you will find a newly refinished pool and spa, eight lounge chairs, and a conversational area with a plush sofa and two side chairs. There's a spectacular view at every angle, and at night you can even see the light of the Palm Springs Tramway as it ascends up to the peak.

WHAT'S NEARBY
When you call this dreamy retreat home, you will be a short drive into downtown Palm Springs for shopping and a bite to eat at one of the many delicious restaurants! Take your pick of local boutiques, famous restaurants, art galleries, and casinos that line the famous Palm Canyon Drive. Not to mention, taking a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will be a breeze, as you can't get any closer than this. For a bit of hiking, there are multiple trails surrounding the town and Mount San Jacinto State Park is also close by.

THINGS TO KNOW
-Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
-The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS.

My group just stayed at this place in Palm Springs and we have had a horrific experience. In general the properties images and description were not reflective of what the property currently looks like. The level of discrepancy between the description and the images is approaching fraud. The property management company Vacasa that manages this home was terrible to deal with. 1) The images are at least 3 to 4 years old... they do not accurately represent the property. Plants were overgrown, the pool was full of debris, there was construction materials in the back yard, and major appliances were badly broken. 2) The furniture was not the same as shown in the photos, in fact the outdoor furniture was black, and it was mostly broken to the point we were unable to use it. Massive holes in the furniture, missing cushions, and it was just dumpy and sad to look at. 3) The pool was BEYOND disgusting. It is NOT that pretty blue color, but a nasty green hue due to the poor groundskeeping and swamp-like due to massive amounts of leaves and branches in it. It was physically not safe to get into that pool. 4) The grounds-keeping was not even tended to, as the entire back area was covered in dead leaves and branches from a massive tree on the other side of the property. There was a large section of the yard that was not accessible due to overgrow plants. 5) The house itself was not properly cleaned, We found confetti, other items, and dirt from the previous occupants everywhere. The dishwasher was broken beyond repair, the toilets continually expelled sewer gas. 6) The beds didn't have mattresses. They had a thin foam pad on a hard wooden base. All four of us at the property have had terrible back problems due to having to sleep on those awful beds. 7) Security was a massive issue. Several of the door locks were broken, and two doors were so badly broken they didn't lock. The property manager, VACASA, was inattentive, and they have basically ignored us since we left. They didn't answer our issues when we arrived, we have had to call them over and over and over while we were there. The manager didn't bother to come out to see the place until a day before we left. She agreed that the property was unacceptable, but has since done nothing to fix the terrible experience we had. This property was so bad it's almost fraudulently represented in these images... DO NOT STAY AT THIS DISGUSTING DUMP OR ANYWHERE THAT VACASA MANAGES.

As advertised, but needed some upkeep

Beautiful house in a nice and quite part of Palm Springs. The house was as pictured. It was spacious and we loved spending time in the pool and for the most part the house was immaculate. However, there were a few issues the makes me give this house a 4 star instead of 5 star rating: 1) he pool was not maintained, we saw some algae growing around the rim. When we got there the pool was entirely covered in leaves and dust. We had to request someone to come clean. They added chlorine to the pool, which apparently had not been added in a while. 2) The dishwasher was almost unusable. Needs to be replaced. 3) The floors were highly polished tile which are very slick when coming in from the pool. There were a few slips. Recommend they get some rugs in the bathrooms and near any entrance from the pool. 4) Also, the master shower drain was clogged.

great house, needs some updates

We stayed there March 2021 for 4 nights with 4 adults and 4 kids. It was very spacious and we could easily have been more. The house is great but needs some updates. The Master bedroom closet STINKS and the Master bathroom has a strong sewer smell. Drains need to be unclogged and we could not get the dishwasher or any TVs to work. (directions provided did not help) The outdoor is amazing, the pool is divine! We had it heated up and it was dreamy to be out there all day. The jacuzzi is warmer than the pool but has no jets. It is still lovely. We had a small dog with us and he loved it. The backyard is secure (a few escape point for tiny dogs that can be blocked with trashcans and side tables) The outdoor furniture around the pool is in good shape but the patio furniture on the bedroom private outdoor area is trashed. re is very strong winds at night so I understand how that happens. When we arrived. one of the poolside umbrellas had been blown into the pool and the cast iron foot was in the jacuzzi. At night you need to remove all items from around the pool or they will be blown away. A person came at 7 am to clean our pool twice in 4 days That was great. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My stay here with a handful of friends was perfect. It was just as advertised and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend stay from LA. The house was spacious and the neighborhood was convenient and quiet. We would recommend heating the pool as well :) I would definitely stay again!

Mountain View Oasis

The house is beautiful inside and has all the amenities you need. Was spotless inside and gave plenty of Spears for our group to spread out and come together when we wanted. The one downside was that the patio furniture was in disrepair, the wicker was broken through in spots, some of the plants/palm trees in back were dead, and the gate to the back yard didn’t latch. Since we had brought dogs, we had to push the recycling bin against the gate to prevent their escape. Overall a beautiful property with some easy fixes that makes for a wonderful weekend getaway with amazing views of the mountains.

Fabulous location!

Close to everything. Beautiful pool area. Some furniture requires repair. Immaculate kitchen but had to buy knives. Linen a little tired-looking. But overall, a great spot for a large group.
