Welcome to Sunset Glamour, an enchanting 1958 Mid-Century Modern home designed by famed architect William Krisel. In 2021, it was thoughtfully and fully upgraded for quintessential indoor/outdoor Modern Palm Springs Living. Every room features glass doors that lead to the outside. Newly furnished with tasteful, modern furniture, inside and out. Significant pieces of wall art and standing sculptures by local artists help set the vibe in each room. NEW POOL AND SPA SURROUNDED BY BACKYARD ZEN SCULPTURE GARDEN

While the inside of Sunset Glamour is stunning, it's the outdoor areas that really sets this home apart. At one end is the raised Spa which cascades into the large Pool. The built-in natural gas BBQ Grill has ample adjoining counter space for prep, nearby outdoor dining table, and you can present the grill bounty upon the architectural, live-edge stone table. The large backyard fire feature with live-edge design reinforces the Asian Modern Vibe. Multiple seating and lounging areas makes it easy to find your perfect spot in the sun or shade where you can read a book and admire the surrounding sculptural elements. Around the corner from here is the Tropical Outdoor Shower. Meander a tropical path just a little further behind the Shower to discover a private meditation cove, surrounded by lush plantings.

THE FRONT YARD ZEN SCULPTURE GARDEN WITH FIRE FEATURE AND BIG VIEW

Upon first entering this fully-gated property, you are greeted by the Front Yard Zen Garden, a sculptural fire feature (there's another gorgeous fire feature in the backyard), the modern glass art piece, and picture perfect San Jacinto Mountain views.

GREAT ROOM WITH 7 GLASS DOORS

The large glass pivot door welcomes you into the great room of your new home-away-from-home. Gather upon the white leather sofas while enjoying the 65" TV and indoor fire feature. Dine inside on the glass table with on-trend lucite chairs all the while never missing any action in the pool thanks to the back wall of glass doors. The dark sparkly solid terrazzo floors contrast beautifully with white design elements.

CHEF'S KITCHEN

The Chef's Kitchen has gorgeous white quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, new cabinets, barista-quality espresso machine, and so much more. Bring your own food and beverage; everything else is provided to allow you to easily create and stylishly serve both casual and elegant meals.

LUXURY BEDROOMS

Pass by the Dry Bar with Sub-Zero wine cooler on your way to visit two of the three bedrooms. At the end of the hall, you will find the luxurious primary suite.  The owners have thought of every feature you would want and even some that may surprise you. The King bed with new high-end mattress will ensure a good nights sleep. Warm LED lighting is built into the ceiling and complemented by reading spot lights by each bedside. Double glass doors lead out back to the pool and yard. A large walk-in closet will keep your things tidy, and the en suite spa bathroom features dual sinks and a full-featured electronic washlet. If that wasn't enough, the private adjoining office/den is furnished with a desk area, modern day bed and large flatscreen TV. Take a break from your work to exit through the double glass doors to the Front Zen Garden Patio.

Along this hallway is the Flex Bedroom with 2 Twin XL beds that join to form another King bed for couples. The Flex Bedroom also has easy access to the Front Zen Garden Patio. Closet doors hide the stacking front-load washer/dryer. A newly remodeled full bathroom with shower is conveniently just across the hall.

Exit the main house through any of the four double glass doors that lead to the backyard, and you will find the spacious casita suite. Roll back the glass entry door to reveal a large bedroom with another luxurious king bed. A fun art wall floats above the comfortable seating area where you can enjoy your favorite shows on the large Smart TV. The en suite spa-style bathroom is flooded with light and the spacious frameless shower has easy access to/from the pool area through sliding frosted doors.

SUSTAINABLE, SMART, SOLAR HOME

Rest assured in knowing that your stay will be a bit gentler on the earth. There's enough Solar on the roof to make Greta Thunberg happy. Other green and smart elements include instant hot water heaters, water-sensitive desert landscaping, and energy efficient HVAC systems, smart thermostats, programmable Lutron Lighting, electronic shades, Fast WiFi, and a monitored security system.

Located in Sunrise Park, a lovely upscale central Palm Springs neighborhood, just over a mile from Downtown Palm Springs. Two car garage and ample driveway space to keep your vehicles off the street.

No smoking or vaping in the house

“Up to ONE well-behaved and pre-approved” dog is allowed, $150 taxable, non-refundable Dog Fee.

Palm Springs has serious noise ordinances that are strictly enforced. Music is not allowed to be heard outside the house at any time and outside quiet hours start at 9:00PM. The Primary Renter must be 25 or order at the time of booking and agree to provide gov’t photo ID, sign separate rental contact, and agree that all adult guests will sign an acknowledgement of the strict Palm Springs City Rental Rules at check-in. This home has a security camera at the front door; it is not monitored during guest stays.

Optional Pool Heating Fee is $75/Night. Monthly guests pay actual gas and electric utility costs during their stay (instead of a nightly Pool Heating Fee). An Advance Utility Deposit of $1,500/month will be required.
