Indian Canyons Bauhaus Anwesen

The Indian Canyons Bauhaus Estate is a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath mid-century modern vacation home that was built in 1962, reimagined in 2022 and is located at Palm Springs’s prestigious Indian Canyons Golf Resort.

The 2,275 sq ft house embodies the chic luxurious retro lifestyle that Palm Springs is famous for: It is an authentic mid-century modern home that has retained it’s historic elements while being meticulously modernized. On top of that, the house was decorated by Grace Home Furnishings, one of Palm Springs top interior design firm.

The interior features 4 bedrooms (3 King beds, 1 Queen bed), formal living room with gas fireplace and 75” TV, formal dining room that seats eight, and a fully-equipped kitchen with Kitchenaid appliances and quartz counter-tops. Outside, panoramic mountain views on an oversized private lot invite guests to enjoy the resort-like grounds. Outdoor amenities include a sparkling pool and spa, bocce ball court, four-hole putting green, fire pit, outdoor kitchen with gas grill and sink, alfresco dining for eight, multiple outdoor lounge seating areas plus manicured desert scape abound with cacti, yucca and desert shrubs. Other features include a pool table, beverage bar (with Keurig, ice maker and mini fridge), ceiling fans in every bedroom, private bedroom patios, skylights and recessed lighting.

The spacious master suite is on one side of the house and offers separation and privacy from the three guest bedrooms. It features an en-suite bath with double sink vanity, large walk-in shower with rain shower head, shower wand and door to the pool area. The bedroom has 12` high ceilings, a King bed, 50” TV, 6-drawer dresser, ceiling fan, blackout drapes, desk with desk chair and computer monitor, large walk-in closet, clerestory window and sliding glass door with amazing pool & mountain views.

On the other North side of the house are the three guest bedrooms.

Guest bedroom one has a King bed, 50” TV, 6-drawer dresser, ceiling fan and sliding glass door to the pool area. It also features an ensuite bath with walk-in shower with floor-to ceiling tile. Conveniently located inside the bathroom is a door to the pool area.
Guest bedroom two has a King bed, 50” TV, 4-drawer dresser, ceiling fan and sliding glass door to an east-facing furnished patio that receives glorious morning sun.

Guest bedroom three has a Queen bed, 50” TV, 6-drawer dresser, ceiling fan and sliding glass door to the same east-facing furnished patio that receives glorious morning sun. Guest Bedroom two and three share a bathroom that features a walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling tile.

The open-concept living area includes a living room, dining room and kitchen with very high ceilings. The formal living room has 12` high ceilings and is modern, comfortable and stylish: A large L-shaped sofa, two chairs, gas fireplace and 75” TV invite guests to relax and unwind. The adjacent fully-equipped kitchen features KitchenAid appliances and a center island with four bar stools. A glass wall made up of a sliding glass door, two large windows and a long clerestory window allows a spectacular amount of Palm Springs sunshine to brighten these two rooms. Natural light also pervades the formal dining room from yet another sliding glass door. The formal dining room features a large table that seats eight and also converts into a pool table. In addition, the room features a chic beverage bar with Keurig coffee maker, professional ice maker and a sink with instant hot water for tea.

The Indian Canyons Bauhaus Estate is located on a 10,500 sq ft lot that is walking distance to the clubhouse of the Indian Canyons Golf Resort.
