 As you ascend into the cozy embrace of the treehouse, you'll be greeted by a comfortable queen-size bed, offering a bird's-eye view of the surrounding forest canopy. Should you desire additional sleeping arrangements, two cots and/or two air mattresses are available upon request, providing room for the whole family to indulge in a unique camping experience amongst the trees. Clean linens, towels, and a K-cup coffee maker with coffee are all thoughtfully supplied, ensuring your stay is nothing short of delightful.

Recent additions to the treehouse include electricity, an air conditioner/heater mini split, and a small refrigerator with ice trays. These modern amenities harmoniously blend with the natural setting, providing both comfort and convenience during your stay. Illuminating lights both inside and below the treehouse allow you to savor the recreational spaces well into the evening, extending your moments of joy in this enchanting realm. Please note that there is no Wi-Fi or internet available at the treehouse, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature. Eco-Friendly and Refreshing Bathing In harmony with nature's rhythm, the Hobbit's Nest features a composting toilet, offering an eco-friendly solution for your bathroom needs. Outside, a blissful outdoor shower provides the perfect opportunity to refresh and revitalize while basking in the beauty of the surrounding forest. Biodegradable toiletries are supplied.

We understand that dogs are cherished family members, and we are delighted to offer a dog-friendly environment where your canine companions can join in on the adventure. We never charge an extra fee for dogs, so feel free to bring your beloved pup along for a joyous escapade amidst the treetops.

As guests of the Hobbit's Nest, you'll share 42 acres of densely wooded Lost Pines Forest with the owners, two short-term rental guest houses, and another charming treehouse. All our rentals are pet-friendly with no additional pet fees. Guests are able to explore the entire 42 acre property and enjoy the hiking trails and forest views during their stay. We'll swing by to say hello and give you some quick tips on the unique features of the treehouse as well as on optional UTV tour of the property.

We try to give guests as much privacy as possible during your stay but are happy to help if you have any issues while you're here. The Hobbit's Nest is set back from the road on a large private property shared with 3 other rental homes and a few houses with family residents. There are no homes within view of the treehouse and you will have complete privacy during your stay.

     This is a unique treehouse featuring an composting toilet, outdoor kitchen area, and an outdoor shower. The treehouse does not have any wi-fi or TVs making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
