The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. The yogurt and fruit parfait at breakfast was nice as well as the home baked cookies at night. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a gorgeous walk along Monterey Bay is only two blocks away. The building however is on the historic register and over 130 years old. The floors creek and the walls are thin. The other breakfast items (bagels, small muffins and pastries, coffee, etc) are meh. But the price was right.
