„I had very noisy neighbors and the walls very pretty thin. Could not sleep till they left at 2:30 am. Did not see that i booked cabin style room (shared bathroom in hallway instead of own bathroom). Did not like this type of room. Location close to downtown is very useful. Rooms clean and personel friendly.“

„Loved my stay! I’m a local who’s in between apartments, so I needed a comfy place to stay where I could cook and work from home comfortably. The lounge areas on the 4th and 6th floor are awesome and you get a perfect view of the city! Will definitely come back“

„We stayed over on their first weekend open and it was a good stay overall. The property was nice and clean. They provided earplugs which were much needed as it is a party heavy neighborhood. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is not the place. But if you’re looking to be close to the local bars, this is it. Worst part was that the towels were very linty but not that big of a deal.“

„Everything was wonderful, beginning from check in to my early checkout. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the price was amazing compared to everything else around! I just wish they wouldn't charge for parking“

„I had an amazing stay at this location, it exceeded my expectations. It’s located close enough to downtown and yet not square in the middle of the city. I took a great walk down to a park that is a few blocks away through a very peaceful neighborhood with many food options located relatively close.
I would certainly come back next time I am in Austin!“

„The Retro Cowboy Villa was perfect for what we needed. Residential area but super convenient to many bars, restaurants as well as downtown and the airport.
Space was well decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The backyard was also phenomenal - great hang out space, amazing hot tub and cute lighting made the space picture perfect.
We ran into a few cleaning and sanitation issues while onsite which we reported to the host for future travelers and they mentioned they recently switched ...
