Don't bother looking at the room photos online !!! Nothing alike, I picked an executive room that looked lovely, however the room we had was awful, run down, only plus was a comfy bed. Carpet was rank, decor was disgusting and the chair to sit on was stained, filthy and broken. We walked down a corridor and there were loads of dead blue bottle flies on the carpet so many looked like a polka dot carpet, and ones flying around, hence we didn't bother with breakfast.

Very near to Leeds Uni. Area is not so good. and can be noisy at night. Property inside was lovely but let down a little with out of date cushions and pillows, etc.

One of the better choices
"Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The ..."

"Horrific! Never Again - Filthy, Run-Down and Rude Staff We booked this hotel for a very special occasion - a wedding - and it turned out to be the biggest mistake of our trip. The moment we walked into the room, we were hit with a musty, dusty smell that made it hard to breathe. The bathroom was ..."
